Despite using the best guitar cables, hum is inevitable especially when surrounded by noisy power-supplies - and mostly SMPS!
Switching to a Digital Wireless System reduces that hum pick-up probability by a big factor, and gives total freedom to move around with the guitar - not to mention that one less cable clutter.
Update: I purchased a second set of these for my Mullen Discovery 10 string pedal steel guitar.
Hum was an issue because of the stock single coil pickup, but now with this wireless system, that hum is now mitigated.
