      Haha, in the lesson we came across the ancient word for "ring" so I told the class how to say "the lord of the rings" in Hebrew :P😊

      so do you mean specifically the vowels or are you more interested in the ancient ta'amim ?

      @@HebrewLiteracy more the history of the Tiberian vowel system (how it came about and all that) but I wouldn’t mind learning more about the cantillation marks as well. That is where I have the biggest gap in my knowledge. Thanks. And sorry for the late response.

      so sorry I was slow in replying. It's hard to keep a conversation going on youtube comments as the reply to a reply from the studio doesn't usually show up for me.
      I'm sorry but I don't really know of a resource to recommend for the history of the development of these systems. I know there was a Babylonian system developed as well which is similar but different.
