That was my lens. You don’t have to agree with it-I was simply praying for Chadwick based on my own faith. You can praise him through yours as well. He is deserving of all the tributes.
You know the special thing about Chadwick, he didn't "transcend race". He stood proud as a Black man, an African man in front of this world. And this world could not deny him. They could not deny him. They could not deny him.

When I heard his passing I cried as if I knew him as a person. But I know why I cried because he was a true-life hero. It's amazing how he was able to act when having cancer and still spread a bunch of love out to younger children who were battling cancer as well. And he really deserves to be called a true hero and a true king. Thanks Chadwick for putting so much love into the world while being a ferocious battler❤️ WAKANDA FOREVER❤️

It's hard to accept that Chadwick Boseman is gone. He truly was a real-life superhero. He brought grace, poise, commanding presence where he didn't have to raise his voice in all his roles. I even enjoyed the small performance towards the end of The Express about Ernie Davis where he shows how much of fan he is of Ernie Davis played by Rob Brown. What I loved about that scene was him being a fan since in real-life he was older than Rob Brown who played the titular character Ernie Davis. That itself says he is that good.

This is why people should give people their accolades, their honors, their flowers and glory when they are here. I hope he knew how much we loved him before he ascended above and knows it everyday of the rest of his eternity in glory. I cried for the characters stories beautifully written. I cried because being a little mixed girl in DC in the 80s and knowing my history I saw in this film that what if.. what if Africa wasn’t raped and pillaged what if it was spared that colonial conquest and allowed to manifest its own destiny, what if it’s people were spared the horrible diaspora...what if?? It was a sorrowful melancholy that I wish I knew more words to express how my heart feels. Here I am, someone who is really no longer a contributing member of society (I have an autoimmune disease). I have no family or anyone that loves me. It just feels wrong for Chadwick to have been taken away when I’m literally depressed and have no life. My heart just hurts 😣 I can’t believe he’s gone. He was too young man! I’m literally balling my eyes out 😭. He was a superhero to not only me but everyone else on this planet. 4 years battle with colon cancer and he still did amazing in all those movies including black panther. He was such a happy strong man. There will never be a new superhero like him ever again...
