Recipe:
Activated Charcoal - 1 Teaspoon
Bentonite Clay - 1 Teaspoon
Gelatin - 1 Tablespoon
Aloe Vera Gel - 1 Tablespoon
Water - 2 Tablespoons
Tips and Usage:
* Apply the mask on dry skin and leave it for minimum 30 mins.
* Peel off once its dry.
* Avoid areas around eye, forehead hair line and lips.
* If you find difficulty in peeling off, abort the mission and wash off with warm water.
* The presence of Aloe Vera Gel gives very cooling effect to the skin.
* Bentonite clay can be replaced with any clays.

What good is the gelatin component? I would like to skip the gelatine because it only adds bad karma and pain
Peel off masks generally need gelatin. You can replace it with agar agar. Or you can make charcoal face masks instead of peel off

You can omit aloe and instead add two to three drops of any liquid oil

That's what I want to know as well.
I would recommend you to make this as a powdered form for storing beforehand and add hot water whenever needed.
