    You are very kind to Rouge. My first and final encounter was flying back from LAS to YVR on a regular Air Canada ticket, but forced onto Rouge. The lack of service flight for me and my 6'3" frame was a disaster. My legs were permanently stuck against the seat in front. And all of this while paying full fare on Air Canada. I hope they get rid of the rest of their planes as well. Air France unsuccessfully tried the same ploy with their version called Jeune, now extinct.

    19:08 correction, Rouge FA's are unionized and represented by CUPE (same as AC mainline FA's). Rouge pilots (also unionized) are Air Canada pilots (same seniority list) effectively sub-contracted to Rouge to operate flights under their AOC, and as such are represented by ACPA. Rouge is only lower cost for the airline as said in the video, the costs to passengers are more or less the same as mainline AC. Obviously this will all change now that Rouge is closing.

For your information, Garuda Indonesia has awarded five - star airline by Skytrax and the World's best cabin crew for the fifth consecutive year. This achievement also makes Garuda Indonesia as the first global airline that successfully retains the title of The World's Best Cabin Crew for 5 years in a row. Since Air Canada Rouge Retired their 767-300s, can any of you tell me which airplanes in Air Canada Rouge will take over the 767 routes?

    • @TheBudgetTraveller786
      @TheBudgetTraveller786 Před 2 lety

      None, I believe. Air Canada will probably use their mainline fleet to continue serving the long haul market that Rouge no longer serves.

      @@TheBudgetTraveller786 Air Canada Rouge should order A321XLRs for their 767 and their transatlantic routes because their mainline fleet are not owned by Rouge
