    The thing is that this video won’t change my mind on the Heat terrifying my Celtics in the playoffs because they usually have our number in the postseason. If they face us, there’s a possibility they could upset us and end our season like they did to Milwaukee last year. So we need to beat them in the postseason!!!

      This is not the same Heat team as last year and it’s normal for young talented teams to struggle against veteran teams for a season or two. The Celtics also added Kristaps and Jrue plus White has improved a ton.

  • @XZA.B
    @XZA.B Před 3 měsíci +4

    The thing about the Heat sometimes isn't even just Jimmy. When Jimmy turns up, you might be done. But in most cases, you're getting a good 26/7/7 from him.
    Now you look at Bam who's consistency is really good defensively, and then their shooters as well and you have a *good* team.
    Now keep in mind that they are probably the grittiest team in the league, and then add that they have probably the best coach in the game as well. And you have the Miami Heat.
    Superstar talent doesn't hurt them, a better team does. Hence, Boston, a team that had Jayson Tatum, and Jaylen Brown, and Derrick White, couldn't beat them. But The Nuggets did. It's not just because they had Jokic and Murray, their team was built better than any other, and their coaches were going at each other. You need to take what the Heat has, and hit them with it. You need the tenacity and grit to not get punked, and you need talent as well, AND the iq too.
    The only teams that I think could beat the Heat with mid-difficulty are the Nuggets and the Warriors. And at the same time, the Warriors haven't been too great, largely because of their Coach, so shit. Maybe it's only the Nuggets.

    i do think its worth noting that spo and jimmy have stated that they try to view the regular season as sort of "practice" leading into the playoffs. but i do agree. Terry was already in a shooting slump for a few games before he was traded and hasnt really been able to shake it off. he was a playoff riser when he did make it, but he hasn't made it since boston. besides that, our rebounding depth is very poor. thomas bryant had a very good game against denver the other night, but he still isnt a reliable guy in your playoff rotation. it's going to take a very large jump from a number of players to make an impact in the playoffs against top teams who we really havent been very good against this season.

  • @pyrrhicvictory5844

    With the Heat, you can draw no conclusions from the regular season. Last year's regular season was uninspiring, and they totally transformed in the playoffs. Also, they have some wild cards up their sleeve, like Jaquez or Caleb Martin. I can totally see them go to the Finals again this year, and even win them.

    I gave Miami all of the credit for their run to the Finals last year. The way they stepped up from the regular season and the play-in to the playoffs was something special. However, I also believe that the Bucks, the Knicks, or the Celtics would've beaten them if any of those teams had been healthy or played up to their level. When Miami went up against the Nuggets, a team that actually played up to their level, they could barely compete with them. The main reason many people believe in them are because they have Spoelstra and Jimmy. That has proven to be good enough to get there a couple of times, but not enough to truly beat the best of the best.

    Sorry, I disagree. More Nico minutes, JJJ, Wright, Mills, and Terry are definitely an improvement over Max and Vincent. What can you tell me about their 3 point shooting, especially Mills and Terry? Also, the regular season is always just the regular season for the Heat. Watch all of the different schemes Spo experiments with. You see that every game you watch, right? I sure do. On the point of age, Pat always prefers veterans. The team never has trouble reloading. I've been a fan since '88, and Pat always gets solid veterans regardless.

I've been saying we need to trade tyler for how much he's injured, he's not worth it like embiid is we are good at finding good players in the draft while not having 1st round picks till later will hurt I'm not really worried. The east is weak I don't think we'll beat a team in the west rlly. I'm calling it now this could be a cool video with how the west is looking the east won't win a championship till 2030 minus any crazy trades. W vid tho bro

    You can tell this guy doesn’t watch the Heat bc trading away Kyle Lowry was the best move they made this year. Even so, he’s come to a reasonable conclusion. This team’s looked iffy all year, I don’t trust that a repeat of last year’s run is coming. It’s possible, but this many years into the JB era, you have to ask how this team can’t consistently manage 50 wins in the regular season. If we fall in round 1, there will be a lot of soul-searching in Miami this summer.

Duncan Robinson is having a better season that strus, Jaime has been one of the best rookies in the league and terry is a huge upgrade over Gabe and Kyle.
