Another great video, Aaron! I hope that iOS 18 drastically changes the iPhone...the UI needs a big change. Maybe change the dark buttons of the Control Center and have different themes, celebrating the different versions of iOS.
Apple needs to get it together. Every time I do an upgrade. On one, my volume works great. Do an upgrade another, the volume goes to hell. I’m getting fed up with that.

We literally have to stop over stressing about battery health. We paid $1000 for a phone not to baby it just do the basic and get the most out of your investment.
I agree, and since you can have the battery replaced for 100€ and you will have again a new battery.

Android also has battery health degradation. They just don’t show it to you all batteries do that.
I’m tired of people who say it’s NOT a big deal. I’m one year in on my 14 pro and I’m at 86%. Ridiculous. My battery doesn’t last as long. So quiet down over those of us who have valid battery issues
I got my 13 Pro about a month after launch and my battery health is still at 92%. I have to say that this phone has been the best iPhone I’ve ever had. If Apple can get iOS ironed out someday I’ll have zero complaints.

Hi, my iPhone 15 Pro Max takes dark photos. In the viewfinder, it is fine, but after clicking, it makes the photos dark and grainy. Any solution?
I have an iPhone XS Max. It’s in great shape, but I haven’t gotten a modem update since I think, IOS 15. Must be the kind of hardware installed.
iOS 17.4.1 is unstable. Springboard crashes fairly frequently on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Then there were network connectivity problems on earlier versions of iOS 17 and overheating. Battery life is bad too

Hi Aaron. Can you confirm something. I’ve just purchase a usb c flash drive to transfer my photos for my iphone 15. It works great. My problem is i can’t move the photos, instead copying to my flash drive. Ok a minor problem. But the annoying things is after succesfully transfer my selected photos, ios will unselect all the photos i select before. This means i cant delete it after transfering, i have to select back all the photos and then delete it.
Can you confirm the newest update did fix this rather annoying problem? Thanks!

iPhone 14 pro iOS 17.4.1. When playing Apple music, swiping up produces a large floating widget of the album art.
It can be manipulated with a digit. This just started yesterday.
The island thingy seems to be awol when the music widget is on screen.
iPad 12.9 gen3 on iPadOS 17.4.1, It has gotten buggier and buggier since the new iPads were anounced earlier in the year.
Freezes, slow responses, crashes have been occuring with increasing frequency on all my Apple devices running 17.4.1.
These issuesappeared weeks after the updating and are getting worse.

I also had the issue with my alarm but when I went into settings in "Sound & Haptics" and noticed my volume was al the way down for notifications. Turning this back up solved my alarm volume.
Update: nope. Doesn’t work. The next day the alarm was silent again.
Battery has been terrible on beta 4. I notice my phone heat up just scrolling youtube and checking ny email. Ridiculous.
Does anyone else have issues with the weather app? I had location always on for a while and had notifications enabled. Never notified me of severe weather in my area. The radar also hardly ever loads the precipitation.
the wifi disconnected when you put your phone to sleep is annoying, and they havent fixed it yet. And i already re-install whatsapp twice, because delayed notification
On the Connectivity side, I can't connect to my provider's SIM anymore.. I've tried everything from the entire Internet whitout succes.. 😢 Maybe at the final release it will solve it because I don't want to reset my entire phone and start from scratch😢
AirDrop is super slow in iOS 17.4.1 and 17.5.
for sending (1 screenshot🙂) that's OK but when I try to send larger files, AirDrop works super awful😤
i just realized that a pair of wheels costs the same as the base iPhone, and the Pro-Display stand costs the same as the base MacbBook Air.

For years the alarm clock bug has been a problem for me that’s why I now only rely on my regular alarm clock radio.
It’s not a bug. Works great. I have to adjust the alarm and notifications volume separately under “Sounds & Haptics”.
iPhone 15 Pro Max on iOS 17.4.1, 100% (99.7% in Coconut) battery health with 200 cycles. I used 5w slow charging and fast charging with sufficient cooling.
I’m on iOS 17.5 Beta 4 on iPhone 15+. Scrolling online, through texts, on CZcams, or anywhere is SUPER glitchy. Also, some words typed into text messages are doubled automatically. Annoying!
Yes. Now scrolling is smooth for me though. CZcams has been very glitchy, even on my Kindle Fire. I think Google themselves have updated CZcams with tons of bugs. It has nothing to do with Apple.
Same here, however it did (for now) fix the Files issues I was having (not able to save or manage documents, empty Files screen with device crashes)
@@marcelleuenberger4648I haven’t had any problems with Files, but the only problem I have had is when I view past videos and pictures from my Feedback Reports, the videos save in my Downloads, not just as a webpage like it used to. IMO, Apple has the best filing system. I have tried to use Android but it is horrible. Windows also has a great filing system, but it has some problems. I don’t like how in Windows, you can’t delete files from your Recents, you have to go to the location to delete them. In iOS, you CAN delete files from your Recents, and it stays in a Recently Deleted folder, which is a lot like Windows. If you delete something in Android though, (South Park voice) itttttssss gone.
As you probably know there has been a long standing issue with Honda cars with
Wireless charging and iphones. Especially 14 and 15 models. phones would not stay connected/charging on some of the newer phones. It seems to be working better now since ios 17.4 or 17.4.1 on my iphone 14 pro max. Is there anybody out there that has noticed it works better on the last updates.
My Apple Pencil 2 stopped working all of a sudden and I can’t get it to work, it won’t connect to my iPad Air 4 anymore.

Went to bed with 80% battery at 11.30 pm, woke up at 8 am with 50%, on iPhone 11 100% battery health, idle drain is shocking on 17.4.1👎
I have arranged the alarm clock so that when an alarm goes off, a shortcut starts and automatically plays a song in CZcams music. I have also taught the shortcuts to switch off all focus beforehand and set the music volume to 90%.

Now I have set it so that my cell phone connects to the boombox first and should only set the volume to 60%, otherwise my neighbors would wake up together with me.
In addition, the weather app opens automatically after I have switched off the alarm clock.
I don't have any smart light sources yet, but I think I'll get one so that it gets light slowly.
There are so many possibilities and I only discovered this because the alarm clock app is buggy !(^o^)!

It’s hard to say because some people have very different experiences. However, there are very important security updates that are in the latest ones compared to the version you’re running.

I stopped having the aforementioned bugs after I reinstalled the software (17.4.1) trough my PC. Probably wiping the software entirely helped. The experience is now very smooth. My 15 pro is not overheating. Also one tip to protect the battery from heat while charging. One week ago I charged one of my battery pack`s with type A to type C cable instead of using my original type C to type C cable with my Anker charger. I have done this, because my battery pack was overheating alot while charging with the USB C cable. The charging speed remained the same but the heat was gone. The battery pack was barely warm to the touch. Then I tried the same with my 15 Pro and the result was the same. The phone charged with the same speed, but it was actually cold, not even warm. As many of us know heat is the biggest enemy of Li-Ion batterie's.

I’m from The Netherlands and it was surprising why Apple didn’t had bikelanes in Maps compared to Google already for 10 years. But hey we still have no Apple Fitness due to language but the majority of people hear speak fluent English.

@@zollotech not the same and to be honest the feature is not even that usable compared to android. Tell me how many times you have to look for the go back button which could be showing up anywhere and even not showing up when using different apps with an iPhone.

can u please check in your iPhone on full brightness use it 2-3 min then put a grey or dark background and put it on full screen and check the right top where’s all the icons are their( signal icon,battery icon etc)! And check if it’s showing slight visual of the status bar icons for few seconds like 20-30 seconds ( signal,battery icons ) it would be healpfull for you as well as everyone to know their display behaviour do tell me in reply
Be careful if you’re jumping on the iOS 18 beta. If you update your phone you’ll have to update your watch to watchOS 11. Once you’re on watchOS 11 you cannot revert back unless you have Apple send it off.
I will only buy an I phone if they will provide number key row similar to samsung keyboard.. sorry no offense.

The alarms don’t sound if the user hasn’t clicked through the options on the “Night Stand mode” splash screen. If you go through the clickable options the alarms will sound.
Ya cellular data has been spotty on iOS 17.5 beta 4 the airplane mode on and off helps it but Ive definitely reported it in the feedback app! Using a 15 pro max on Verizon wireless by the way

Apple lose millions when people install outside of the App Store and don’t pay the extra 30% commission fee to Apple. Sadly they try to do less than the bare minimum for the European Parliament. I mean, they might. Apple may change their mind, if you have ever seen Apple Explained, he explained Apple's decision process well: they ask questions, not come up with something and just shove it to a group of people. "If side loading is allowed in the EU, why can't it be in the US?" The EU has allowed sideloading, and so far, hasn't really had any problems with it, so why can't we allow it in the freeist country?

I don't know for me it seems like people who want the iPhone want it to be like android so I don't understand why,if you like the security and software being available for most of the different generations 🤔🤷♂️maybe having left samsung galaxy phones for the iPhone a few years ago because of the software update being easy and direct without having to worry about different hardware devices editing the os to fit their device where Apple doesn't have bloat ware as android 🤦♂️
Maybe it's more about user choice than anything else. Why _not_ just add a toggle, those who want it can use it, those who don't just leave it off. Like with the Windows Store on a PC

Apple should really focus on improving existing issues.
Apple's keyboard is horrible.
Sounds & haptics and Notifications are a big mess.
Basic navigation gestures and inconsistencies that are a huge pain in butt, especially on larger iPhones.
Mediocre camera app in a phone I paid +1000€ for.
No way to see if you have got notifications without sliding down the notifications bar.
Accessing control center on large iphones is nightmare.
And list goes on.
I’m on iOS 17.5 Beta 4 on an iPhone 12 mini. So far, great for a fourth beta! Feels like a Release Candidate! No one in my family or friends are not seeing that alarm bug. Great video, btw!
