    Those China carbs are a total roll of the dice as to longevity and quality. Some just fall apart, some the passages are off size, some just can’t be tuned. And of course some work OK.
    It is ALWAYS better to rebuild an OE than buy one, but live and learn.

      I 100% agree, but for $25 or whatever, and not having the original, it works fine!

      @@LambvinskisGarage they do sometimes, and then they just literally have parts come off or passages open up and leaks develop from bad castings.
      Just a heads up is all. I’ve dealt with quite a few. And I always get the “ it’s got a new carb, so that’s not it”.
      If you find a used OE anytime in the future , grab it if it’s affordable , rebuild it and keep it on a shelf for future possible need.

    Check Common Motor they are out of houston they NOS and remanufacured parts for 60s and 70s Hondas

    Here these bikes are ''postie'' bikes, reliable long lasting they just keep going!! They hold their value too!! These machines get around 150mpg so a good commuter!!

    Nice bike, since the petcock is on the carburetor did you drain the tank or pinch the fuel lines when you removed it?

      We just pinched the lines with a couple vise grips. The tank is clean and the gas was new, so not much reason to drain it.
