i do not know how dare they talk when she is in the middle of her performance ...i am actually an Arab and i know this dance transmits a message...you must shut up to respect the cultural heritage
they're judging her and making notes about where she fits into the competition though. Talking through the performance is necessary regardless of the type of performance.

Indian dances are performed as story telling, therefore, it is vital to understand the words of the song otherwise you are just watching her waving and making facial expressions, etc. which would not make sense to the judges. I understand what she is singing about and her moves are right on and appropriately done - nothing out of place.

The way she captures the expressions, her graceful moves, one can see her commitment to the art of kathak dancing. It’s sad that we in India, aren’t doing much to preserve our rich cultural heritage. She’s such an inspiration, despite being brought up in Russia, she respects her Indian identity. Proud of her! Love from India 💕
Brilliant, i am sure if u keep dancing with such expressions, sytycd judges will start understanding the importance of expressions in dance performances. They should soon learn this.

This is a different portion of Kathak which has less of the feet movements ( tatkar) and more of the expressions for a thumri (telling a story). Bollywood songs comes in this format more so she has no choice but to do as such. :)
