We married brothers and have 7 children between the 2 of us and have been through tornados, floods, and a hurricane! My husband passed in 2011 and hers died in 2016! We decided to purchase a condo and have been roommates since 2016! It’s been wonderful! We are both in our 70’s and hope to be around for at least another 20-30 yrs! I'm jealous of your relationship with Donny and how it has lasted so long. I think one of my greatest regrets of my twenties is drifting apart from the first friend I came out to after I went to college and law school. Ironically, he had a very similar response to me coming out to him and he got very salty when I told him I thought he'd react negatively. We were so different from one another; he had a lot of struggles in his life and I just didn't beyond coming out to my parents which wasn't awful to begin with, but he was always there to be my confidant when things got difficult--even though things were a lot harder on him. We all would benefit from having a DJ Donny D in our lives tbh.

Hi Mark and DJ Donny !! You are truly blessed to have Donny in your life, so good, for so long. He is a KEEPER ! I can't say I have any of that today. Booo. But that's ok. My friends from HS were in my life, till I told them I was gay. Another Booo. When I told folks I had AIDS in the 90's that was the end of everyone in my life. Another reason Donny is such a keeper. He never tossed you to the curb at any point, for any reason. But Donny and his Wife cared for and continue to Care For you today. Such a blessing. Becoming an Old Gay (read: 55) has been a cathartic realization for me. People don't have time for Old Gays here. All of my friends have disappeared from my life, but that's ok. I can do this anyway.
