    $13,229 CAD 8000km Mint 2015 still under bumper to bumper and certified dealer warranty. Best choice I ever made in a beautiful vehicle. Also love the feeling being under the radar in this gem many miss. Got mine. Get yours - dealers want’em off lots. Buick concentrating on SUV market

    I'm guessing the radio staying on until the moment you open your door is a common GM thing because my 2013 Chevrolet Spark 1LT does that too
    I love that feature

    What happens when you accidentally press the on/off engine while driving
    Its so close to where the radio is, wouldn't be surprise if many people turn off the car when trying to turn on the radio :/

  • @dirtyitalian
    @dirtyitalian Před 11 lety

    The radio being on after the engine has been shut off is a common GM trait. Even my 1999 Silverado has that feature, shut the engine off, and the radio and other power accessories will stay on for 20 minutes, or until someone opens a door. Very handy indeed though.

    Thanks Roman, on the radio part, I think you can turn it on without the key in the car. I've done it before in our Terrain (i'll check when I get home) so might be able to do it with the Verano. Haven't seen it done yet.

    Roman! The radio thing has been going on in all GM vehicles for a long time. Even my 2001 Pontiac Montana and my 2009 Pontiac Torrent AWD base model have that feature. Love the reviews though!

    My father bought a Skoda S100 back in 1976 for my older brother (who was 17 at the time and was a endure motocross champion and loved to race!). My brother tried to modify the engine of that car in order to make it go faster than 80kmph, to no avail. Great engine, but definitely not built for speed... and the inside was very plain; the horn was on the same control stick for the turn signal and it broke constantly.
    As for the Lada, we had Fiats instead, 124, 125 special and 132, very good cars.

    I think that if you are a shorter person, you can probably get away with putting someone under the 6' mark in the rear seat. If I can put one of my 6' friends in the back of a Chevy Metro I can certainly fold them into that back seat.

    I regret I ever got a Buick Verano it's like one problem after another God forbid if the indicator prompts saying your AC is turned off because of overheating, it can be so many different things causing that and unfortunately you end up spending all kind of money trying to figure out what is it is, it a blown head gasket, is it the radiator, is it a clogged radiator hose,does the thermostat needs to be replaced, is it your water pump, is it your AC sensor, unfortunately if you take it to any mechanic whether its the dealer, they want to charge you to check all of these and then some before they tell you what's really wrong with it you will be out of $1,200 before you know it if not more

  • @SagaAcademica

    Here in europe is a lot of Skodas. You probably know, Skoda is not what it was 20 years back. It´s actually a Volkswagen, but it comes with a cheaper price. Like spanish Seat. About 10 years back nobody knew what Skoda is in Britain, today is probably better selling car than VW. I expect something similar could happen in USA too, kinda green car. Interesting is the fact how big and rich Russia is, but they still don´t produce a modern car..?

    2.4 GM ecotec engine is the biggest POS I ever owned. Bought new and burns oil like a quart every 2 weeks. GM knows about this issue but refuses to recall all cars with this engine. Reason for oil burning cheap Chinese parts piston rings are worn out at 35,000. What a big POS. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY A GM CAR. TOYOTA HERE I COME. my son has a Corolla with 350,000 miles and doesn’t burn a drop of oil and has nothing done to the engine but oil changes.

      SanDiegoInnOut The Verano non turbo is a great car it goes like a rocket and the non turbo won't have a giant bill when the turbo fails.It could have lower radio controls so you Don t have to strechs to change things on the radio. Power seats should be standard.The moon roof is fabulous. AS TO THE POS COMMENT. That's S!! The Verano is a comfortable easy to operate Fun car
      and less expensive than the regal and who cares how quick it gets to 60mph with a Turbo.The Big heads at GM are making a mistake by dropping the line in 2018 They should offer a Convertible and price it under $30k
