I suffer Narcolepsy.... Every time I listen to this song, like REALLY listen to it, I almost cry. This is one of the only things that makes me feel like people understand.
The guitarist, Kevin Cadogan, used to suffer from Narcolepsy. This is where this song came from. Co-wrote it with Jenkins,, along with many others. Great songwriting duo they used to be.
It's 2am and I wish I'm dreaming .This time I can't sleep at all and I'm praying I will be able to sleep well during daytime otherwise I will struggle to stay awake. This is hell.
@@kennyyorke331 yes alive and well, but has fallen off the face of the earth since late 2018 and he isn't active on social media anymore. Its pretty unfortunate.
The theme that people rarely speak about this album is that it's really about drug use and its consequences. The band has done a good job in hiding it behind these happy melodies. :)
I have had narcolepsy for forty years. This is what it feels like.He wrote this for a friend with narcolepsy. I listened to it when it first came out, and it is the perfect song for people with narcolepsy
@@anon.1289sleep paralysis is beyond horrifying especially if I don’t fight to move I feel myself float around the ceiling looking down. Sleep on your side that helps much
The speed is what made their music sound so good though. Wouldn’t have had that creative spark without it. It was only speed and they only snorted so to me no harm no foul. I’ve been at it since before this band was known.🤷🏻♂️🙏🏻
@MrBabirusa thanks, man. I thought i wouldn't get that much views for this because it's WAY hard to find because of all the jumper vids and there's another vid for lyrics on this. but, thank you. it's still one of my favorite songs from my favorite band.
As someone clinically diagnosed with Narcolepsy thank you for this.
As someone who suffers from Narcolepsy, all I can say is this is genius

Have you seen the movie My Private Idaho? River Phoenix plays a young man who suffers with narcolepsy. It's so powerful and amazing.
