Big up, and thanks bro. I went through all of the same steps after the exact boost symptoms and now I'm ready to go to the actuator or wastegate sticking problems.

"a little, a little, a little" 😂lol thanks for the video mine seems to be doing the same thing I just ordered the Hitachi E ignition coil pack thinking it may be the coil pack because it was misfiring ... but that doesn't explain the why my boost gauge is acting weird. When the throw off valve is disconnected it seems to run fine no choking or car wanting to shut off. That is the issue I'm having it chokes, and when at a stop will turn off on its own. The check engine light also turned on for a P0411 and a P0237. Would that be the cause, the wastegate valve? Because it's not on for the misfire I previously had.
Thanks for the video I almost bought a n75 today then did more research though it was because of the maf sensor from being dirty and not reading air correctly but I did pull on my waste gate actuator and it was really tight so gonna try that in the morning hopefully this works

When you did this to the waste gate what was going on with it cause I have a 01 Wolfsburg jetta it sounds like my turbo is working but it feels like I have no boost I hear the turbine or whatever humming but it just seems like I have no get up

When you were having the issue did you have a rattling kind of pinging noise as well? I’ve changed the diverter valve, n75, checked for leaks with soapy water. Put NGk Bk6re copperplugs and got rid of platinum.Pcv valve and all hoses. Great video. I know this is old so if someone knows please help

i’m having this same problem. my car would only boost to 5psi and then start sputtering and would sound like it’s going to backfire. i changed the n75 and cleaned up the diverter. i’m going to see if it’s the wastegate

my boost drops from 20 psi to 10... up and down... not 0 tho.. did n75 valve and still same problem, my waste gate actuator was hella tightened down by previous owner and I put back to stock but still same problem,....
Grease will NOT get down into where you are trying to grease.... Only oil will get in there from the outside... If you take it apart you might be able to properly grease that shaft. Otherwise youre just putting grease on the outside of your wastegate.

I habe a problem where my car doesnt hold all 15psi drops to 10 or 9 on high rpm and before it would hold the 15 to 13psi and i did a n249 before and it felt good for a week after that i had the issue any idea and i put the 249 v back and i also replase my intake maifold

i unhook my n75 to wastegate hose still boosts the same doesn't overboost so thinking my wastegate is sticking i have not taken it apart yet but i can seem to move it by hand mabey not far enough

I have a boost problem but when i boost (Stock 10psi), it will hold 10 for a few second and then itll start lagging and sputtering and then goes into limp mode at 5psi (sometimes 0psi).. I was told its my vacuum lines because they are old and when the engine warms up all the hoses shrink when moving lots of air and cant support the 10psi. I ordered new hoses i hope thats the damn problem ahah

hola hermano , tengo un jetta mk4.5 1.8t y hace poco le instalamos intake apr y filtro simota , esta casi stock , después de instalarlo un amigo hizo lo mismo que tu en el video con las tuercas para incrementar boost ......... me preocupa que se pueda dañar el turbo o el motor por ese incremento desconocido de boost. tu que opinas ? gracias

hey squalo777, great video carnal, i have a 1.8 t with a repro, it´s doing 225 hp, it has the stock turbo the k03, if i move that nut all the way down you think my k03 will make more boost?

I ordered that K04-001 turbo for the seat skoda cupra 1.8 T AWP from eBay because I didn't want to change the Billy Bass downpipe and exhaust. How much boost are you running? everyone gets the arp k04 or f22 Franken turbo
There's supposed to be another bolt on the other side of the wastegate actuator. both sides
No it's no a bolt those are the lines for the coolant, it's going to be a pain in the ass taking the tiubo out, try not to break anything when I took mine out I couldn't do it by myself someone has to be holding the Turbo while the other person takes the bolts from the coolant hoses
All of those are good the price is that change everything I can't really spend 2500+ for the Apr thts why I went for the k04 001 lol

+Jason Cameron the only thing you would have to modify is the intel hose for the turbine buy one that will fit the k04 or get somebody to make it bigger i pay 40 to make mine to fit the k04

No bro the intel follow your intake to the turbo its going to be the one connected to the turbo turbine not the one that goes to the intercooler

+squalo777 videos cuando tenía el ko3s bno tambien tenia otra compu con repro boosteaba 19 psi mira mis videos en mi pagina ahi esta como corria mi carro ahora q cambie ecu y cambie turbo no pasa de 6psi en primera y de 8 psi en segunda y tercera para arriba 11psi y no pasa. ya le movi la wastegate ya le puse el diodo en el map y nada ya probe anulando pa n75 y nada no funciona
Lo mismo paso con el mio despues de cambiarle la ecu pero el mio nonpasaba de 10psi le anule la n75 pero sin desconectarla para ber si haci tiraba mas psi pork deberia y ne daba lo mismo en el mio termino siendo la n75 pero recuerda k tiene k ber mucho la computadora si la nueva que le pusistes no tiene ningun software, no ba a importar si le pones un turbo mas grande solo teba a permitir correr el carro a las opciones de fabrica espero k esto te ayude
