In 2016 I drove with my family from mainland Greece to Lefkada then Kefalonia and Zante.
We will never forget it.
The Ionian beaches are simply breathtaking.

Your videos are just great! Amazing drone shots. We have been to Zakynthos 2017 and Kefalonia 2018. This year we will go to Lefkada😃 The Ionian islands are the best greek islands in my opinion - they are so green and have the best beaches 😊

There are ferries between the islands almost every day, even in winter, in summer every day

We have not see shark!
No sharks at all in Ionian and Aegean see
There are sharks in the Mediterranean, however in Greece you hardly EVER see one even remotely close to the coast. The Mediterranean is the most safest almost shark free sea/ocean in the world. The most shark attacks of the Mediterranean countries happen in Portugal and Spain who also have some coast towards the Atlantic ocean. PS. In the last 100 years only 5 times have people been bitten by a shark in Greece. That's very low. In the USA in Florida alone on average 32 shark bite deaths are recorded yearly. So enjoy your swim in Greece with it's 16.000 km of crystal clear waters.
