  • Hey guys thanks for checking out another one of my reviews. These gloves despite the couple of cosmetic flaws stiching and printing. The actual function and feel of these are amazing! Do not let the little flaws turn you away. Like I said maybe I just got a newer batch and the printing and stitching wasn't dialed in.

    I have the 20th anniversary RS1 in red. The are all leather like the originals. I find everything about them excellent aside from the stitching. The stitching isn't bad but it does have frayed spots.
    Overall great value for money, I would say they would be an amazing pure sparring glove for hand/wrist protection and for your sparring partner.

    My biggest issue with the original RS1's was that they felt really top heavy, as if all the weight was at the very tip of the glove. I got the velcro rival rs11v's and they felt well rounded, felt more compact and better for intricate combination punching. I imagine them being similar to the RS100's.
    Does the new RS1 2.0 have good weight distribution along the glove like the RS100? or is it top heavy as well?
    I really need to know since I'm buying online and can't go in store to try them on anymore.

      Hmmm I personally didn't feel the rs1's were too top heavy. However the rs1 2.0's are a much better balanced gloves in comparison. I love them

    How's the wrist support? Easy to flex your wrist back or is there some type of splint support there like the Rs100?

      Wrist support is fantastic the pre molded cuff is very comfortable. Theres the same X lace track system on it as is on their old model.

      @@maxrey4055 They have opened up a bit for me. I use hand wraps also and when I put them on with no wraps they do feel like they have a bit more room.
      My RS11V Sparring gloves were the same way. Also I didn't get a notification for your response to my comment which is weird. Anyway, I believe they are made with their microfiber material like all their newer gloves. I believe their RS100 is the only gloves with real leather now.

      @@andytieu604 They had the description wrong at the Title website and have no corrected it. I think I'm going to send them back and look for something else in leather. I have the RB11's and I love everything about them except that they are not leather and don't have that worn leather feel after several months of use. RS100's are also Microfiber but a "upgraded" microfiber.

      @@andytieu604 it's the 2 strap system, they are opposing straps that overlap, i think they work great and tighten up very well. Mine just got delivered this morning. I love them so far. A little stiffer than the RS1s but same build quality and pre-curved cuffs. They are winners in my book. Paid $135 but got 30% off and free shipping so like $95 from Title Boxing

    • @andytieu604
      @andytieu604  Pƙed 4 lety

      Well, it depends on whether or not you mind the lace ups.
      If you can buy lace n loops or have someone lace your gloves up for you everytime then the RS1 2.0 here are the way to go.
      Otherwise the RS11V is much more practicle. You can't go wrong either way. Fit and feel are perfect for both.
      The padding does start out stiffer with the rs11v in my option but softens over time.
