Do we patients with a symptomatic arachnoid cyst get an excuse for more than 40 years of medical gaslighting by you and your colleagues worldwide?... And finally, outdated and incorrect information that is still published is removed. I almost died, my arachnoid cyst was monitored since the late 1990s... I did not even get a painkiller, my arachnoid cyst was the size of a mango... in 2014 the symptoms became worse and I had to suffer from hydrocephalus until 2021. proptosis, midline shift over 7 mm, mass effect... more than 7 years of hellish pain... I suffered permanent brain damage due to late intervention. I'm not the only one in the world who has had to fight so hard to get help. most of my fellow patiënts are going through hell with doctors sending us away. many of us have been left handicapped for life by intervention far too late. We deserve a sincere apology. I am one of the arachnoid cyst warriors. I am from the Netherlands.
