It did sound like less distortion when you switched. I had the original about 10 years ago and went to RME and Lynx. I have always missed it. Im shortly picking this guy up. Thanks for this short demo.

How are the drivers in the id44? Does it have glitches and drop outs a times?

Just curious why this over the id24 for VO as it is 43% cheaper and uses less desk space and still has great preamps and some flexibility with external gear

noticeable difference on the pres on the ID44 mk1 vs mk2? Do you feel you need an external preamp or are the onboard pres good enough?

Did I miss something or is this the only audio unit in the world where you can't set a precise and reproducable listening level? Setting the main level with those LEDS? Really?
