I'm back at Pyramids. This course apparently got established in 1988! The oldest course in Massachusetts. Instead of just trying to shoot a 1000 rated round I challenged a 1000 rated player to beat me with these old school discs that Paul McBeth sent me! Let me know where I should send them next!!

You tried to protect those discs by all possible means by smoothing them with 10% power on the easiest course while Simon blasts them with full power in the tightest woods possible. Gotta love it!

Big Jerm needs to get his hands on these next. He always has so much knowledge about disc golf that I'm sure he would study up on these and do a 10 minute video on the history of this disc and others made around the same time.
Him and Paul live near each other in Charlotte. That would work to have them do it next!
I agree, I want to see someone who is forehand dominant and not many throw a forehand like Mr. Koling.
I know Jeremy Koling has an old CZcams channel, I see him in the comments section every now and then.
And we could all use that segment for listening material when falling asleep!
Sexton is always a delight to watch. I wouldn't mind one bit seeing him get wild with some old school discs.
He used to play rounds with just the Zephyr. He is dang good with them!

Crazy to see how much disc golf has evolved since 83' Watching those discs fly!! Awesome round to watch Simon!! I think these kittyhawks have got to be sent to James Conrad he's got to be one of the best putter throwers, I think he'd slay a course with them!!

I'd like to see Eagle get these once he's healed up, but in the meantime I think Ezra Aderhold should get them next. It would be interesting to see how much distance he could get out of them...

Nah Ezra doesn't have the finesse for these discs. Although might be interesting to watch him try.
I mean we just saw them thrown by Simon, the guy who parked a 492ft hole with a putter. I don't Ezra is going to top his putter distance throws.
I think 'turn' to the right would be the preferred nomenclature. Safe Sexton would be the man for this task, as he even has a period costume for that era.
Scott Stokely was a good shout out as the next pro to throw these. I'd also love to see Philo throw these. 😊

Hey you should send those discs to Drew Gibson, he lives right by me and our home course is Shady Oaks in Orangevale CA, last year’s women’s USDGC was there. The course was built in 1982, so it would be a perfect pairing for those discs

Hey Simon, Those Kitty Hawks say Driver on them, but nobody used it as a driver. That was what we used for a putter. And yes, from experience, that old plastic will shatter if you hit a tree in the cold. If you want to try out to rest of the discs we used in the 80's, come to Seattle and I'll let you try them out.

Oh I'm so excited for Vlogmas!! I really enjoyed last years. Oldest Course in South Dakota is Omaha Park made in 1977 but the original baskets now gone were from 1980 and the original Concrete tees were 1991. Still nearly the same 9 hole layout with the upgraded old type Discatcher the local club, Black Hills Disc Golf Konfederacy is still trying to pass off as older Mach V from the nearby more played Jackson park. Only change since original layout is the hole that the tee was nearest the train tracks has been moved forward and made shorter. This course for 1980 layout would be easy to play with similar discs today but not super easy
