I looked and couldn't find any good videos on how to make snow chains, so I decided to make a video myself to explain how its done along with helpful tips to make your project go easier for you.
we currently live in FL, but due to meds, my wife can't tolerate the heat, so off to rural Vt we go. looks like I'm going to be swapping out my crocks for duck shoes. definitely will need to get sets of tires with chains. will also make a set for the workhorse golf cart. good and quick video. thanks
An easier way to determine the length of the main chain would be to measure across the tire where you want the chines to ride, then multiply by pi (3.14). This will give you the length. Then figure in any couplers you may use. Its just a lot handier and quicker than trying to lay chain on the tire especially if it is mounted to the vehicle. Easy.

Greetings from Finland! Thanks for the excellent video.

For the runner lengths you could have saved time and money by using smaller chains for the runners and just threading them through the larger links
Excellent video…thankyou
