NY Jets x Chicago Bears NFL Girls Flag League Launch | Decyfr Sport

On International Women’s Day, the New York Jets and Chicago Bears launched the NFL Girls Flag League - the very first girls flag football league in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧
At the launch event, Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool and Jets tight end C.J. Uzomah were joined by Sky Sports’ Hannah Wilkes, former Buffalo Bills coach Phoebe Schecter, former England Rugby international Ugo Monye, as well as Jesse Linder of the NY Jets, Henry Hodgson and Matt Simeone, to discuss the importance of flag football in encouraging people, especially girls, to participate in the sport.
The Bears and Jets are two of six teams with access to the UK for marketing and fan engagement purposes - through the NFL’s International Home Marketing Areas (IHMA) initiative - and events such as Wednesday’s confirm their commitment to globalising the sport and engaging a younger audience abroad.
