This is the best mkx matchup I've seen. Hilarious commentary, intense battles and clutches, and an Epic ending with a brutality.
It was fairly close in the beginning. ...and he had a few matches could of gone either way. ..but after like maybe the 8th to 9th lost. ..he wasn't even there, and sonic was on auto pilot

The number of clones that didn't come out that should have / would in current patch just hurts to watch. Sad that sub only found his bugfixes and proper balance when MKX was already dying off. But in spite of that, tom did well.
Second big factor I completely forgot about is that Subs only overhead is a very slow, unsafe back 2, that he can barely every combo off of due to female hitboxes back in this version.. Hopefully better days head for sub in mk11.

Great set. Looks like a tough one for Sub zero with little reward compared too cassie. Not taking anything away from Fox the kids a beast.
+MrUKChronic look a lot closer into the matches and Brady could have gutted himself into 4-5 more wins. The commentators weren't lying when Brady was doing less and less combo damage as the games wore on. There were close games in the middle of the series where it could have gone either way and Brady just dropped combos. Up to the point by game 11 Brady was giving up mentally.

+Grant Larson They're both rather equal I feel. Brady gets the hype because he IS sub zero. He took sub in MK9 and put that character on the map competitively. He has stuck with the character through thick and thin in multiple games and manages to place consistently well, usually around top 16. He's ridiculously passionate about every aspect of the character and that's why people call him the grandmaster.

Why does the commentator keep talking about sub zero's meterless damage? Sub zero doesn't have strong metered combos and he's a low tier character. Also, Brady didn't drop that fwd 4, 2 combo; that string ends with a back throw and he would have to burn meter just to combo with it which is dumb because SF was in the corner by that point. The best thing to do afterwards is oki with ice clone.

I didnt say that they didnt inform the audience, or do their jobs. Im saying they did a poor job of covering both player's strong and weak points and decisions. At 28:00 he even says as a joke "No bias or anything of course", because even he knows how bias he is being. "Im taking notes" was said 20 times, with one commentator religiously reading out the button combos for Cassie, talking over the other commentator- 31:29. That, in my opinion, made the commentating annoying.

People don't realize that sonicfox is counterattacking and using tech to land combos or hard knockdowns or set ups. You don't realize how hard it is to keep someone in the corner and make reads or comebacks while you yourself are forced into corners.
