The last one is my best friend who I always talk to when something terrible in my books happen (she never reads thus never anything can be spoiled on her). I told her about Newt and his struggles in The Maze Runner and she was just like, "He is just a character... in a book."

I hate when people tell me that I should go and experience the real world instead of reading.
SO l should go to the empire state building. Ask for the 600th floor in the Empire state building and fight Kronos. Also to go to Scotland and run through in between a platform, so I can go to Hogwarts

The only book I would say is ok to just watch the movie instead of the book (which i do love the movie and the book equally) is The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. The reason why I say its ok is because the director of the movie is also Stephen Chbosky so he knew EXACTLY what he was doing when he made the movie and no one should try to tell him otherwise.

The first one gets said to me the most and it's said to me when I haven't read a book at school for a little while and then I bring one and I read a bit during class and breaks and then my friends are like "ughh you're always reading it's kind of annoying." And honestly that just triggers me. They don't understand. Because they're mortals. They also say that they think the movies are better without even looking at the books

I'm still friends with my ex who used to make me get rid of loads of my books. She visited today and it's the first time she's seen my book shelves that my boyfriend lovingly installed for me. He was telling her how he bought them for me and encouraged me to build my collection. Talk about rubbing her nose in it lol.

Wine I read books with over 200 pages people tell me how they wouldn’t be able to read something like that. For me, well, if the writing is good enough, it’ll feel like it’s been ten minutes and I’ll have finished the book.
My friend who I’m trying to slowly seperate from, HATES it when I read. If I’m reading at recess and lunch she’ll take my book and lock it in her locker, or she’ll pretend to pour water all over it. She might take my glasses. I cannot read without them unless the book is really close to my face. She will complain to me. She’ll ask me questions and interrupt me reading. Worst of all, yesterday she bring a spray bottle with water to school for the specific reason that if I were to start reading at recess or lunch, she would spray me, and the book. This book is a library book, if she spray’s me, my glasses will get covered in water and then I can’t see out if them very well. And adding onto all of that, most of these things she’s said to me. I hate it how everyone, not only this friend is so mean, rude and harsh to me because I’m reading.

Actually, one of my favorite things to do in the world is take a pillow and go sit next to the pond near my house or in a tree and read a book. There's just something special about combining nature and literature and sometimes music
Also reading can spur you on to looking different things up, which will help you learn mostly useless things but but but, I have a huge vocabulary because of books 🤓
