Joey is such a interesting character, and I mean that in a good way!! The only thing I don't understand is if he loves the art and being an emcee, and if money is no longer a reason to make music, then wouldn't this be the best time ever to explore your creative side musically????? You worked and fought so hard to gain your independence, and you only put out 1 album???? As a fan, the reason I love joe is because his music never seemed to be about the money......now he's pushing music aside......because of money!!! But happy ppl finally see he's more than just a rapper, he's a personality. #salute

I agree with that, but the way the industry works today it might not be worth it, kendrick and cole are the only ones in the mainstream that are lyricists and they have both had dr dre and jayz behind them, it is difficult in todays climate to be true a top lyricist and succeed. I think everybody wants to be appreciated to an extent, after the drake saga everybody turned on him it seemed. And im not even a huge joe budden fan, im just givivng my perspective as an outsider. I love his podcast though and everyday struggle
