Great job Terry. Thanks for sacrificing your sleep and time for us.
9 years later and still a great video!!!
Awesome to see this footage so quickly! Thanks for all the hard work late into the night.
The definition of "Dela'ed" is clearly expressed at 2:10.
Nate was a great sport at 16:29.
It's nice to see that last 20 seconds when all the stress is off and everyone is in a good mood as well.
KC rocking the hat, shorts and long sleeve tee like only he can. Good round guys. Nice to see Doss doing work too.
Paul McBeth: "Stupidest shot I've ever seen."
Me: "He's clearly never seen me play."
@ 12:47 it sounds like the champ bust a couple of farts right before his run up. lol.
Was lucky enough to see this live but it's still nice to see it from another angle. Climo was having a very bad day and let some of it out. It happens to everyone who plays DeLa... sooner or later. Even the 'Beast' can whine... like he did on 16's and 25's tee shots. Wes and Nate were complete gentleman as was McBeth most of the time. DeLa can test your frustration trigger level and then keep pushing the trigger. Barry Schultz won't play here anymore.
I didn't know Nate Doss putts with star destroyers! Haha @7:40
Great vid and thanks for the upload! I know it's a controversial topic... but I kinda missed the commentary.
Really great coverage Terry!! I personally am fine without the commentary. Love the info concerning what plastic McBeth & Doss were throwing....at times wished we would have had that for the Champ as well. Surprised that maybe Nate hasn't worked the Crank into his bag? It is a great driver, kind of pushing my Nukes (and others) out of the picture for me......
i like the new intro, looking good :)
crazy@ 16:29 !
No commentary for this? Nice coverage but would have been much better with the commentary.
Why is the assassin from Jason Bourne playing against McBeast, Doss, and the Champ?
Think how brutal it would be if that putt that Nate had that stuck on the top of the basket was high enough for him to get a 2 meter penalty.
Great footage and I like the disc names. Did Climo really throw a Predator on 14?
MyOpinionMatterss - no, I see I made 2 mistakes on that hole. As mentioned elsewhere, I was editing literally all night and clearly it got the best of me. I also said Doss was putting with a Star Destroyer which is pretty humerous as well. Sorry about that.
Haha that is funny! No problem. Still one of the better dg vids I've seen.
thediscgolfguy haha yeah, I was like 'well, maybe he's trying to get the destroyer to skip into the basket...?'
Did Climo throw a Roc on the last hole?
Christopher Higgins I think it was a Roc. It got a big air bounce. The wind was unusually gusty that day. It's usually fairly calm on the lower parts of the course.
Wait... did they call a foot fault on Kenny at 8:20..? or was that just a messed up edit..?!
dennis k - a messed up edit on my part. That's what editing for 10 to 12 straight hours will do to you.
Haha no worries man I just got caught off guard by that. Thanks for the quick post! Keep up the good work.
dennis k maybbe it was dejavu captured on tape
Oh Kenny, such a poor attitude. I'm sure he'll grow up someday.
***** I know it's impolite to talk while someone is preparing a shot, but I don't understand why athletes at this level can't maintain focus unless there is dead silence.
Isidro Gonzalez - my main reponse would be this .... I think if noise or talking is constant all of the time (like you might find in a casual round) then it's one thing. However, just like in traditional golf, you expect silence before and during your actual swing. Abrupt sounds that are sudden or unexpected are the worst.
That looks like a miserable course to play.
Michael Brown Yeah. It is as miserable as you let it be. I prefer to characterize it as 'challenging'. It will show you where your game needs work. I can't imagine having any fun playing a course where the OB is a bunch of silly flags or sidewalks. Man up and quicherbichen. Come here and get humbled by DeLa.
Is KC always that awful? Foul mouth, negative, whining; terrible for the growth of the sport!
Usually kenny is really good. I think the course and wind and a large gallery who kept talking or being in the way was hard for him. He does like his silence when he is on the tee.
Jeff Lee Other than the 'foul mouth'... realisticly, every disc golfer has had rounds where it seems every other drive rolls over or hits a tree...putts clank off the rim, or roll off down the hill... it's nice to see that it's not just me - even pros have days like that.
