Game Description:
ABOUT FIRMAMENT
Firmament is a new puzzle-adventure game by the legendary game studio behind the best-selling games Myst and Riven. Featuring deep storytelling and world-building, discover the story of this seemingly abandoned world as you explore and unlock the mysteries of 3 unique Realms… and beyond!
EXPLORE THE WORLD
Featuring a unique steampunk aesthetic, Firmament invites you to explore the legendary deep world-building Cyan Worlds is known for. Firmament is a fantastic visual feast, with thrilling new sights to see around every corner. At the same time, the world of Firmament feels completely plausible; as though it were constructed with a bigger purpose in mind… A purpose you will be compelled to discover as you play.
SOLVE THE PUZZLES
You carry with you a device called an “Adjunct” as you explore. This Adjunct is your interface as you interact with the various devices throughout the Realms of Firmament. Employing the Adjunct to solve the puzzles you encounter will bring you ever closer to unlocking the secrets this place holds.
DISCOVER THE STORY
You are not entirely alone in Firmament. In addition to The Adjunct, you are joined by a mysterious apparition, who has a story of her own to share with you. As you explore you will be introduced to 3 Realms - each with secrets and mysteries to reveal. What purpose do the Realms serve? Can the spirit who accompanies you be trusted?
REVEAL THE MYSTERY
Are the realms of Firmament abandoned? What are these giant, mysterious machines scattered throughout the world? What is their purpose? What part do you play in this grand mystery? Explore, Discover, Solve, and Reveal the mystery for yourself by playing Firmament!

What a shame that you lost the narrator, and the fact that you have already finished the game and nothing can be changed now.
Her voice was so beautiful.
Joke of the day:
Q: What did the Cyan puzzle designer mutter to herself when deciding whether the next puzzle should be about sentences that read the same backwards as forwards engraved on a precious stone, or about the upper legs of one of the characters?
A: "Palindrome gem or D'ni lap?"
The playtester fainted 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Funny that you mention Infra.
I found your channel because I wanted a full let's play of that game.
I'm so happy to have found you lol.
Same here. I loved that game.
Came for Myst but Keith's got me into plenty of other great exploration/puzzle games (Infra, Outer Wilds, Taiji, Return of the Obra Dinn etc.) so he's definitely a very influential CZcamsr!
Yesterday i finished this game. And oh boy i cant wait to hear your final opinion Keith. I have some assumptions about your opinion but definitely will wait for you to finish. Maybe you could made an short essay about Firmament.
That audio glitch is such a bummer. It ruins a good chunk of the gameplay experience. I recommend a replay.
In the ice realm, look around. Not just down. You were so close.
Keith forgets to look up the knightmare of all puzzle players.
Ive seen Keith play all Myst, Riven, Uru and Obduction. The guy is getting old. He's forgotten how sneaky they can be in this games. 😉
LOL when you said, "Uhhh, was I always able to do that?" I like this man needs a "there there" head pat.
14:45 Now it works, as you were standing too close before. :)
The loudspeaker has two slightly different announcements, so maybe it really is a play on different meanings of the word "keepers" ?
7:25 "We are Keepers."
12:25 "We are The Keepers."
It's more difficult to like the video on the phone now...the dislike button gets pressed too.😅
yeah she should be speaking to you, they did fix it have you updated the game recently?
Y'know, after watching some gameplay where she does talk, I actually don’t mind the bug all that much. It's not ideal, of course, but I do think it’s kind of cool how her absence doesn’t really detract from the atmosphere of the game. If anything, it just further reinforces that classic Cyan loneliness.
And why those airlocks on top when the vaults at the bottom are wide open?
*notes down to check in 15 episodes or so to see if the rope charms on the wall are a puzzle solution*
I played through this game myself before watching this play through, and I’m confused about the heavy door just after upgrading the adjunct with concatenated socketing. Without spoiling, surely that door shouldn’t be openable yet?
And the same at 34:20 - that door should not be openable yet?
I ended up under the game. It was black all around me and far up in the air was parts of the game. :(
I fell down from the planters... the last thing I saw was the fading sun.
Coming from Cyan, and after the amazing Obduction, what a let down this game is!! I can't believe they went from Obduction to this one!!
Totally agree with you. I don't have any incentive to play this game as the puzzles are too difficult. Also no interactions with this game like other Cyan games. Disappointed.
Keith most probably bugged this game out (no narrator voice) because he went a different path in the beginning. When I was playing the game, I lingered in the ice-world without going to the swan until I got the upgrade.
I can't say that narrator gives any solid advice on how to progress the game, though.
