Watching this I just can’t help but think how blessed your children are to have you and Joel as parents. The patience Joel has is such a wonderful quality to have with his children, they will grow up to be empathetic, kind and patient men. Bonnie, you are wonderful as well, they need your discipline accompanied by love and guidance in their childhood to grow into caring, humble individuals. This video hit home. I remember when my dad woke me up and brought me night fishing with his coworkers. I couldn’t have been older than 5 or 6 and they caught this massive shark. Still have the picture with it. Love the memories you’re creating with your family ❤
The kid’s will NEVER forget this experience, they had such an absolute thrilling time! You can absolutely see every part of their being just beaming with excitement and enthusiasm. The most exciting part for me is, who is having more fun experiencing this? I think it is mom and dad as well! You are all beaming and thrilled, this is truly an amazing vacation and one that will be the most talked about by your kid’s and the both of you when your kids are parents themselves. I can only imagine a Thanksgiving in the future when the kids all have kids and you are all sitting at Thanksgiving around the table, you guy’s with your grandchildren and Lincoln telling his kids of, the 20’ shark he caught! Boston, Olivia and Cody all teasing him or telling him, “yep and our shark was 25’ foot.” How many memories you guys are so fortunate to have this vacation that are positive, it’s such a wonderful blessing. I’m so happy for you all.

Publix is the best grocery store!!! Can I just say that I have loved every minute of your 3-month vacation. I love that everyone is outside in nature enjoying life instead of sitting around watching television. Making lasting memories is what it’s all about.
We love Publix. It’s expensive but we didn’t really have any other choices!

Agreed. I am going to be so sad when they leave Florida. I wish they could sell their home and stay put. It's just beautiful there. I know that's not realistic, sort of, but home is where the heart is, right? So many sweet memories. God bless this precious family ✝

If you are ever in San Diego, you should go on a 3-5 (I’d do the 5) day fishing trip down south into Mexico and onto Cabo. I would recommend The Royal Polaris. I used to as a kid, go out on another boat before the Royal Polaris and my sister’s and I would go catching bait before a big trip. Interesting for the kids, we would put a massive light above the water at night and a net below to catch all the squid that were attracted to the light. Once on the boat we would grab the squid and have squid ink fights where, we would squeeze the squid and ink would spray out of them just as great as a sharpie pen with non removable ink stain! My mother LOVED, it lol. Fishing on The Searcher, one of his first boats (we knew the owners wife well), was one of those memories I still smile when I think back on. We would catch massive 160 pound fish. I didn’t but my mom and dad did. The Royal Polaris is famous for its great food and awesome fishing.

Poor sharks, if they got the hook in their mouths and have to live like that.
We use lures that are designed to rust and disintegrate in the salt water after a short time.

Absolutely get your kids a Bernedoodle! We have a Mini Bernedoodle and she's only slightly bigger than your Lady. But the sweetest dog you can get. Plus they're hypoallergenic! ❤
