God tier is an over-used claim in the watch world. Most watches given this accolade struggle to justify the title but here's why the Casio F-91W is God tier:
1) It's as cheap as a watch can get.
2) It's incredibly tough.
3) It's accurate.
4) It's reliable.
5) It's comfortable.
6) It's simple.
7) It's not pretentious.
8) It's classless.
9) Casio have history.
10) Casio are on top of their game when it comes to digital watches.
11) If you lose it it's no big deal.
12) If you damage it it's no big deal
13) It's the antidote to the sheep buying Apple watches.
14) It's retro cool.
15) It has an hourly chime.
16) You can customise it without ruining it.
17) It's not a fashion watch.
18) Casio is a Japanese company.
19) It's iconic.
20) It becomes something you cherish.
Amen.
It’s a big F.U. to apple watch wearing sheep!
So the greatest watch of all time
@@janhellberg It certainly lays claim to that title.
Its a working man watch and inspire young kids to become responsible adults.
and its light, which is the most important trait for me
I purchased the Casio F-91W recently and absolutely love it, so iconic, understated even though it's been so popular over the last 30 years, well made, keeps the accurate time for a relatively long period, easy to use, comfortable to wear, incredibly lightweight and looks pretty good on your wrist, no matter what clothing you're wearing.
You just cannot go wrong with buying the F-91W, it's so inexpensive at around £10, but at the same time has all the important and basic features that you would want in a watch.
Yes the backlight is not great but this somehow adds a bit of charm to the F-91W, and I admire Casio for keeping the same design and functionality of the watch which they could have easily changed over the last 30 years.
Because the F91-W is so inexpensive it's probably one of only a very few watches where you'll decide to replace it once the battery dies. You'd be saving some money buying a new battery and fitting it yourself but doing it any other way like taking it to a jewellers or watch repair shop would cost more than what you originally bought the F-91W for.
The only improvements and new features I'd make to the F91-W would be a better and brighter backlight, countdown timer and mute function.
Instead F-91W I prefer F-105 Yes for backlight
It's just the most iconic watch ever mafe by casio. I already know that if I ever end up owning my absolute grail watch (witch is the omega speedmaster) I will still have this casio in the same box and probably wear it more than the omega.
The F-91w was THE watch I started wearing to get used to wearing a watch, and 3 years later I still wear it every single day for work. Ive never had a watch that starts so many conversations than I do with the F-91w
I have it and I love it. The F-91W is the perfect watch for the times and places you may not want to wear your expensive timepieces.
I've had an F-91W for a long while now, it just does everything it says in the ...err...packet. I have some more premium watches from premium brands but that takes nothing away from when I wear the F-91W when I often catch myself smiling at the honesty of this watch. The battery may only last many years but don't bin and old buddy, batteries cost pence and a little deft use of a screwdriver and your old friend will be resuscitated for may years on. If the strap breaks (it could be great as a pocket watch in a suit) there are many alternatives as well that may cost nearly as much as a new watch but! Would you really want to discard to landfill a good capable friend for the sake of a new band? This watch is an icon right up there with the G-Shock.
An original F91W strap is only about 6-7 EUR, at least in Romania, so it makes sense to change it. No loss feeling there.
I agree and you can always put it in NATO
I got this watch as a gift and I could not be more happy, I love it and wear it nearly everyday! One of my favs in my collection.
I collect watches and I have to say that the F91W is a MUST for any watch collector.
Here in the UK, they sell for £10.99 GBP
They do what they say on the tin... TELL THE TIME no added promises.
They hold a very accurate time for a non-radio-controlled watch. I have tested mine and it is MANY times better than an automatic Seiko for accuracy (Holding the correct time)
I accidentally put mine in the washing machine on a 2 Hour wash ..It was in my jeans back pocket... It survived perfectly well.
This watch has a heart of a lion.
And for the cost if it does somehow get damaged.. Just buy another one.. TBH when the battery dies. It is just as cheap to buy a new watch... It is a design icon from Casio for the same price as a takeaway pizza.
F91W is the cousin of nokia both last longer
This watch does much more than what Casio promises. I've been swimming with it for a year now (I even pressed buttons to use the chronometre under water) and no issues. Stunning
I forgot to bring my watch while I was in Japan; and so I stopped by an electronics store and purchased a Casio F91W; it was slim and light and I totally forgot I had it throughout the trip.. It's gonna be my travel watch from now on.
I love this watch, feels really nice. Really lightweight.
I love the Tissot Prx 35mm with the green dial, but the iceblue colour are just out of this world.
This watch remind me of my childhood, i had this watch when i was younger.
God wears this watch.
God is a tier ?
@@julienfroidevaux1143 no a God wears it.
@@f.b.i9572 Your not familiar with tier ?
It's often used by a fat Dutch man with a Irish accent here on You Tube .
@@julienfroidevaux1143 I am well aware bro it's sarcasm
@@f.b.i9572 Thanks , thought so just wanted to check
casio f91 w is the best watch in the world...i like it so much..even i have g shock
Classic! I just bought one today! The best feature is just how cheap and light it is!
Bought one a while back, stays on the wrist doesn't move, can't even feel it, brings back memories from 80's. Many people say the f91 is very small, that is true, i call it a small watch with a big heart! Love it!
I was given this watch as a coming of age present for entering secondary school 😂 I felt like a grown ass man going into year 7 with my black blazer and black Casio watch that matched my school uniform 🤣🤣🤣 love that watch so much
Same my guy 🤣🤣
I like simple things that do his job best in the world , just like this casio f91w .. delivers what it is made to do and does not weight much . Kudos to creator of this masterpiece
I have had 2 of the F-91W 25 years apart. One when I was a child and another for my children a few of years back.
How long is the battery life?
@@tatsuyashiba5950I think it will last until 10 years
Love my one of these, keep it in regular rotation between my Seiko SSK001 and Tudor Black Bay Heritage
I have many other watches but i just can't stop wearing the f91w. it's light, comfortable and care free from scratches. i love it.
Love the Casio F-91W. Just took to Nigeria for two weeks for the same reason as you and absolutely incredible! My grail watch is the Omega Speedmaster
I agree with you thoughts, 100 percent. I am a wearing and lover of this watch, but I never see anyone else in my area wearing one. I find that a bit odd seeing as how many are being sold per year. It seems that most people are wearing a smartwatch or no watch at all, overall. Weird.
F 91w casio is the best, and no watch can beat the life time of this . I was selling watchs in my shop. Dealing with 91w is lovely.
Kandy, Sri Lanka.
This watch is timeless
THE F 91 EVERY WATCH COLLECTER SHOULD HAVE ONE IN THEY COLLECTION THAT WATCH IS AWESOME
An all time classic. Top piece
Great video, subscribed to your channel and followed your insta.
My fav luxury watch is the Tissot PRX and the Edox Skydiver. Although Im not yet actually be lucky enough to own them
Those watches can dive 30 m no problem. If your buddy had a leak in his he was likely screwing around with one of the buttons underwater.
I've had one for over 10 years now.
Never changed the battery. Wear it anywhere I'd wear my gshock, even spear fishing no problem. These things really were forged in the fires of Mordor.
Where did you buy it?
Adore this watch. I wear the w-86 for the better light and water resistance, but the F91W is the legend
Just got one of these.
@@RossDoughty awesome watches. I had mine on an 18mm leather strap. Totally changed the feel.
Now finally got my grail watch, so the casio is in a drawer
Great episode! I love the Grand Seiko Snowflake.
i’ve swam in the ocean so many times with it on and it still works perfectly
I have one of these on my wrist as I watch this video, I bought it a few days ago for about £11 or so. I used to have one in the early 90s and this is a wonderful reminder of that one, I love its simplicity and besides, I'm a Casio fanboy. I challenge anyone to have just one .. I did try but I now have 8 or so 😊
My personal definition of a real watch is one that is not disposable. It needs to be an automatic or battery replaceable without requiring any software updates that will eventually make it obsolete. That's why i don't consider apple, android and garmin watches as real watches.
The watch aspect of smart watches will always work. Its the bloatware, battery life, apps, and support that become obsolete. You can still charge the watch and use it to tell time, other than that it’ll be useless in 10 years. So i agree with terms lol.
@@dialedmedia_ No part of the watch will work. Before long the battery won't take a charge and you'll have a throw it out because the battery is not replaceable. I have a smart watch in the garbage as the battery is useless.
yes, be happy that the casio f91w can be battery replaced
I have absolutely no interest in computer watches. For me the F-91W is the antidote to those things but the sheep will for the marketing and continue to spend hundreds on the next version every few years. Those types are addicted to the 'upgrade culture.'
@@thecentralscrutinizer1758 never have to charge an F91-W. If it was solar powered it would be too chunky, casio did it right.
I just received a F-91W today, from Amazon. I was surprised to see that the back said: MADE IN THAILAND.
Best watch ever, i bought maybe six or seven over the years because of loosing them in moving house etc, for the money they're a must beater .
Wearing mine right now 😁. Outstanding timepiece and one of my absolute favorites.
The Omega Seamaster Diver is def my favourite luxury watch
I also purchased this.... And I'm totally love it...
I have one and although I don't wear it anymore the battery is still going strong after 10 years.
The Jaeger LaCoutre Polaris with the blue dial is my favourite luxury watch!
Imagine a fully lumed carbon edition F 91 W.that would be sick.
f91w with saphire glass and carbon strap is what i want..and el backlight..
@@IDKline with a platinum bracelet and a double coated sapphire crystal
My fave "luxury" watch has been this prx since i watched your first video on it. Ive been trying them out at every opportunity and i dont know why I've not made the jump. (Before that video, my fave watch was the Cartier Tank Basculante
Got mine in 3 colorways blue , green & yellow
I love this watch
Laik! 👍 hello i saw that your blue watch doesnt have the small u in the corner, and i am wondering if its fake or not because i also have gold watch and it does not have the small u too. please answer me.
I love this watch. It's an icon and still a great value.
Got an F-84W - love it
Wearing one as I watch! One of my faves.
I love my Casio I wear this watch everyday but recently got a smart watch but I do still use this Casio for runs, gym and going overseas.
Just got em!, it's lit fr 🔥
I was a bit surprised how small it actually is. I kinda wish was bigger. I think it would look grandious
It tells the time... 1000s of pounds spent on a nice piece or 9.99 both do the same ...tell the time... We must all agree u must av at least one casio in your collection...🥰
You could see this watch from everyone. From a pest control to a NASA Engineer
How long does the stop watch count till?
Incredible timepiece
It’s a classic!
My one watch collection. It can be a dress watch, field watch, utility watch, swimming watch, etc. with its history and toughness.
Great watch! But you should definitely try the W59 Casio. Personally I think it’s better than the F91
Got them both. Indeed W59 is under rated.
And if you want an even better one, albeit slightly different, then go for W86. It's better in every single regard, and costs just a little bit more.
Every other Casio is better than F91W, but still.. 😂
@@lacinema5646 , so so true!
My mom bought one back in 1984 and it was so cool then it got lost
I got the GD 100 and dayum the build is impressive
I would on purpose beat it on a hard surface many times and it has been months and I'm still speechless about how rugged this watch is for ₹6000
My favorite luxury watch ever is a AP Royal Oak !!!
It would be great if u could review the twelve from Christopher Ward?
I understand that it can't be sold through your shop but as they are also coming from the UK, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts and critiques about the ⌚
Cheers

Dont have insta but i want somebody to agree on my fav watch „a lange und söhne datograph perpetual“
My fav watch is the patek aquanaut
I've had mine since 2016 and wore it throughout my whole time in the military, its the one watch that I would say 75% of soldiers I served with owned. None of these military marketed watches or supposedly issued watches (its super hard to get a watch issued to you, especially when you can buy one of these for next to nothing) and there weren't any of those other gimmick watches, not a lot of G shocks either which is a brand I see a lot of youtubers saying soldiers all have, this one was by far the most popular for all the reasons you listed. I still have mine and the battery is still going. (and I was given mine so 8 years + however long the previous owner had it before he gave it to me)
I got my 9 year old daughter the silver case/clear strap version for crushing her last report card. I don't think she's taken it off yet.
I got it because it was the normal time and the 24 hr time and it’s small enough for me too ❤
I agreed with you. ❤
How does this only have 6,000 views
Collect watches and have 4 Casio's they produce a lot of legends
Casio my beloved 🥺
Est elle vraiment étanche ? Pour nager ou pour prendre une douche ?
When did Casio double their prices?
I have the A168 variant and I love it!
Do you have any other Casio watches
What made you decide on the A168
if I could keep only one watch it would be F91W ...or GW5610U 😁
There was a U under the resist, but I wanted to make it sure that, without the U, the watch is legit or not?
It is. New ones do not have the U
Got mine at Walmart today $16 and was the only one in stock
The Honda Civic of watches.
This would be perfect if it was the same size as an AE1200. Having said that, I am going to "Argos" one.
Favourite luxury watch has to be the Speedy :)
God tier!
My love watch 🎉
It's legendary..!!
I can only find this watch for a minimum of $35.00 AUD in Australia! (approximately 18 pounds)
Has it gone up in price everywhere, or is that just because of where I live? 😢
Same in Canada 😢
I think they estimate that there is closer to around 120 million of the F-91w's sold in the world. That is because it simply is an amazing watch!
Got one today
affordable, durable, and legendary, that's why this watch is GOD TIER
My bestie has a Rollex. Every day he consults me what time it is to set his expensive joke.
My favorite luxury watch that I own is my Monaco.
I'm thinking of buying another watch. I already have a Casio watch that I got for 1695/- Indian rupees. I really like the one I wear every day.
Is this the original one, no small "u" under resist ?!
New model doesn't have the tiny u

Think mine is in a drawer somewhere 😂 still works 💪
Quite simply the best watch in the world.
Yesss.
I am wearing this watch.
now also I am wearing the same watch
It's a tool that does it's job and it does it well.
I think it's become more than a tool. It's iconic and cool because of what it is.
An eternal watch
Couldn’t agree more 🙌
