I am so grateful for Francis who always grabs hold of my reins and like a owner who loves his horse but pulls up on the reins and rattles the bit and gets me back on the trail. This has got to be one of the most powerful sermons I’ve ever heard in my entire life!! I grew up in the church, so I’ve heard a lot of preaching. I only wish I could thank Francis Chan personally, for his obedience to God and what God has been able to do through him, for me! I’m coming off of about 10 years of a rough battle with depression/panic attacks and anxiety. Like the song Zach Willams has “I’m no longer a slave to fear, for I am a child of God”. God reached through my phone and grabbed me by the ears when Francis said “I’m praying for some of you with trust issues” my issues for years has been because I didn’t trust my body or any sensation that was happening. It would lead to all kinds of tests and ER visits. All I needed all along was to lean on God 100%
What if we can see the blessings we receive from him see his glory in all of creation pray to him receive answers to our prayers but still also feel that fear of wrath from GOD. That fear what if I’m not saved. What if Jesus denies me to the Father in Heaven

I thank GOD for Francis it's not easy today to get a teacher who talks and teaches the WORD of GOD. .like He does he talks directly to my heart may our ALMIGHTY guard his heart and soul. .and give him more energy and love to continue sharing the true Gospel. .coz that's what we really need

Whatever a man teaches, whether he's Pastor so and so, or apostle so and so, we MUST seek the Holy Spirit for confirmation through examination of the word and prayer.
There is NO substitute for the Holy Ghost!!!!!!!!

Through prayer in asking the Holy Spirit for understanding of His Scripture. Confirmation from the Holy Spirit will be done through what Scripture says.

What if you believe in the threats of God's punishment but not in the promise of God's blessings?
Kbunny 45 God's judgments for us were drank down by Christ on the cross so that God's justice and judgments are satisfied, and Christ was crushed so that we can be blessed and loved. Only because Christ's death is pleasing to God that He raised Him from the dead through the Spirit, He is now seated on the right hand throne of God, and His name is above all names, that whoever believes in Him, shall be declared righteous and be justified. It doesn't matter if you believe more in God's judgments, it will not change God or your life. What can change you is if your repent of your sins and believe in Christ and what He's done for you. The only way a person will fear God's judgement is by living in sin.
Life in Christ is freedom through the Grace of our Lord and saviour.
And he who the son sets free, is free indeed.
Then one will live an unabudant life. Believe in both equally , believe in every part of what God says, but desire and press forward towards the promises knowing that he who loves him and keeps his commandments will have them.
Kaiya 45 ... Hi Kaiya, when you believe in the treaths of God's punishment, you believe His promises also. Think about that. He promises both blessings and punishment and that we need to reckon.

Francis I know your sincere. But sever mental illness of the utmost high degree, pain, and distorted brain chemistry cannot be measured by anyone but God! I know ones that have experienced attempted suicide. What they need is Love, empathy, Support, and prayer. Then maybe they will be strong enough to face a Spiritual path. Our God is ALL LOVING AND KNOWING! It's not right to take our life, and I'd never agree with it. And so, may God be judge alone! Please don't call them selfish! 😪
