They should have party or family pricing. $10 and then $5 for each family member or party member. Everyone in the party doesn't really need their own photopass. What the heck is my 8 year old going to do with photopass?

I am going with a party of 6 in August. My best friend has never been before and this makes me so happy because I feel like we are actually going to be able to get to all the rides and still have time left for Fantasmic and some of the other non-ride experiences.
Thank you. After watching your video the way you explained how to use max pass and photo with the app. Has made a big difference to me and less daunting. I'm from Australia and taking my preschool age daughter for the first time we will both be experiencing Disneyland. Now next daunting thing on my list is the itinerary. Any tips? I've already bought my tickets, before they introduced the maxpass, would I have to go to the ticket booth at the start of my trip like an annual pass holder? And do you know if i can do this (buy the maxpass for my entire trip) on a day when I'm not using my tickets?

I’ve used Disney world FP+ many times & im planning a Disneyland trip and it’s crazy to me that they are still using paper fast passes & you have to stand in front of a monitor to put a number in your phone to get a photo. Is disneyland planning on getting magic bands? This blows my mind how different it is ! Glad I’m learning tho!!!

We went to Disneyland at the end of August through Labor Day and the MaxPass was sooooo worth it!!! Saved us a lot of walking and waiting in lines. Will definitely purchase it again next time we go.

To use the fast pass if it was book on mom app would the kids be able to use the fast pass through their app or will mom have to be present to scan everyone in

So for an annual passholder, can I add maxpass for the day through the app? or do I have to go to the ticket booth? I only have 5 months left on my pass before renewal, and 75 dollars isn't worth it for me.
Thanks for this. I've watched a few videos about it and I was sort of confused. I'm planning a trip in December so I'm kind of debating getting it since December tends to be a slower month. It'd be great to get all the photos and stuff though from the rides and the cast members and stuff though instead of having to take pictures of them!
how do you get maxpass if you buy you tickets in advanced like at a disney store? also, does this mean that there will be less paper fast passes?

Can I ask a question - from what I've seen you can only have 1 fast pass at once. Say you get a Radiator Springs Racers fast pass and it's still unavailable for 2-3hrs, does that stop you from getting another fast pass until that time or will it only stop you for the shorter time like this video was showing (ie with California Screaming it was saying immediate redemption up to an hour, but you could "book" another fastpass after 20-30mins - in effect holding 2 fast passes at once however only one is immediately able to be used)? Does that makes sense? Sorry I'm just confused as to what will happen with rides that have a hugely longer return time.
can you use the maxpass to get a more than one fastpass for a ride? lets say i want to go to space mountain in the morning, but i also want to go at night, will it let me?

Hi Max! I pay monthly for my pass, do you think they will add the extra charge for MaxPass to monthly payments? Also, I see that how it could be important to cancel your fastpass if you can not use it. I reserve 3 initial FASTPASSES and after using them can I purchase Maxpass to save running time towards kiosks?

Thanks for the video Max! It really helped me understand it better. I just have a couple questions. Is there a limit to how many you can get in a day? Do you think the wait times to get another fast pass are going to get longer as more people get the max pass? Also, when you get in line do you just go in the regular fast pass line? Would the only difference between paper fastpasses and this one be the waiting how quickly and efficiently you can get a new one without running around the park?

Okay I have a question that I can’t find an answer to. All my friends and I are planning on getting annual passes, but we were thinking if only I payed the extra fee for the maxpass. Hi max! I found this video very informative, but I'm kind of concerned of the convenience of max passes now that everyone has access to it now. What's the difference now compare to this video that was done a day before the release? Has there been any problems? Do fast passes run out now that people are getting them faster thought the app? Hope all these questions aren't so confusing.
So let me see if I understand something that's REALLY super important: It seems in some of your examples the NEXT AVAILABLE RIDE can often be MUCH sooner than the "actual wait time". EG when you looked at Space Mtn it had a 75 minute (real) wait but when you booked it it was only a 15 minute wait?

one question: if you time to book next FastPass is at 1 but it is 12:41. Can you book your next Fastpass if you have already scanned through for the ride that you are currently waiting for, for the other ride. Awesome video

Thank you for your video! We are headed out there in February. I just have a question. Do you pay extra for the photos to be uploaded on to your phone? Or is it just that one time $10 Fastpass fee and you can have all the photos taken from the park?
Great video. I enjoy watching how they are trying to keep paper fastpasses alive over there. It's a good system, and a nostalgic one, and I like that DLR is doing something different. I think it'd be interesting to see how the Maxpass affects the amount of paper tickets people get, and how quickly they go. And for everyone mentioning how they're charging for something we have at WDW, it is a different system, but mostly you need to factor in that you're getting memory maker downloads with that price, and it pretty much covers it. I just wonder if this roll out to pay for the service is a low-key way to test functionality for possibly making it the sole FP system similar to us at WDW.

this maxpass system seems like it makes waiting in line a thing of a past. i actually kinda love it.
Same! I'm going in a week and I wasn't going to get the MaxPass but I talked to a co-worker who highly recommended it, so now I'm gonna do it and I'm pretty excited
It just makes Disney more enjoyable for those with more money allowing them to pay for shorter lines and less enjoyable for families that can't afford it as they watch richer families skip past them while they've been waiting patiently. I know Disney is a business but its pretty contrary to Walt's idea of Disney being open to all when it just becomes more and more elite.

This is cheaper than. Using photopass for the day. I'm in. I usually spend $39 for photopass this way I get photos cheaper plus the fast passes. Right?

MaxPass is currently operating through the Disneyland App. So just download this app, make a disney account if you don't already have one, and link your paper park tickets under the "My Tickets" option. To link, it'll have you either take a picture of the barcode or type in the id number on the ticket. Whichever you prefer. And you should be able to add multiple tickets so then you can make parties like Max did.

im trying to take a party of 11 people. if i include this pass its 10 more per person..am i just paying for the photos to be available instantly? i dont get what it has to do with the rides? then again it will be our first visit so im not sure how many rides there are

what happens if the ride breaks down during your fastpass window is it link Disney world where you get a list you can choose from?
Fun of all sorts if a ride breaks down during your fast pass window, that fast pass becomes valid for the rest of the day. You just have to go back when the ride is back up and running. Take a screenshot of the barcode so you have it for later and then you can choose a new fast pass for a new ride
