What I am most grateful for Zelda is the franchise has given me a sense of adventure wherever it is mounting with link’s Epona, flying on a loftwing or sailing across the ocean onboard the King of Red Lions ship.
But as I got older, I was more enthusiastic about storytelling, the relationship between characters( like Link x Zelda), the mythology/lore and iconic music that remains memorable today.

I'm thankful for all the online communities that spawned because of the love of the Zelda series and allowed others to share their love as well. Facebook, Reddit, Tumblr, deviant art, all of them.

With Zelda, I'm just generally thankful for the memories.
In particular, I have very strong memories of playing Twilight Princess on the Gamecube with my uncle, now departed. He was playing it himself, but had vision issues, so I'd often play and act as his eyes, reading dialogue for him and/or a guide when needed (like those actual huge books that were printed back in the day). Meanwhile, I was a lil kid with a brain too smol to really play properly myself; I'd mostly just fish endlessly and run through the fields with Epona while following my own dot on the map cuz I couldn't figure out how the map worked.
Within the last few years, I got a WiiU just to play it again (Switch ports when?!), as well as a Wolf Link amiibo to go with it and some other merch, always in part in his memory. RIP, Uncle Skip. Needless to say, that's what got me playing all the games that came after and backtracking to the games before it.

What I’m grateful for in Zelda is not only the game in itself, but for the concept of just an ordinary person who overcomes challenges that are deemed impossible. Showing that nothing is impossible. Showing that good can triumph over evil. And lastly that even that same person deserves the love of a princess. It has always had a special place in my heart over the multiple games I have ever played.

Since Link and Zelda are also teachers in Tears of the Kingdom, I would like see more of them educating the new generation of Hyleans in Hateno Village. 💞 👨‍🏫 👩‍🏫 🏫

Honestly, I’m eternally thankful for the existence of Ocarina of Time 3D for fully allowing me to delve into a franchise I’d loved from afar for years.
My first few attempts to get into the series weren’t exactly successful, having quit PH after the first dungeon and getting tired of the waggle in Wii!TP, so I’d honestly given up on playing them myself.
Then I saw a copy of OoT3D on a shelf in a store, back when it had just recently released, and decided “Why not?” Now here I am, having invested myself into the lore and plotlines so completely that I’ve gone and written three separate fanfictions for it.

I am thankful for the entire Twilight Princess OST because it played a key role in making me a musician and eventually studying and analyzing music as a career. I'm a music teacher now.

Thankful for channels like ZU to scratch that zelda itch even after 100% totk:) (still wish we were getting some sort of DLC)

If there were any dlc, I would like a playable Zelda see second quest story where we get to see more of Ancient Hyrule and other places before becoming ruins in her own time.
Plus, exploring the origins of Ganondorf where we get to see what the lost city of Gerudo is like, how he learned the most vile magics from Kotake and Koume, and ross up to the rank as the Gerudo King.

What I’m grateful for is the Twilight Princess Manga series. It is such a good read and it reinterpreted the game into a saga, and even tied up some loopholes the game left.
But I’m also thankful for the English dubs of the games on your channel. They really got me through 2020 back then. I do hope you guys do a new dub someday (hopefully A Link Between Worlds) 😉

I am thankful for fairies we can catch in a bottle, mainly from Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time as I have played those games but from all across the series too. They have saved me from having to restart boss fights or have given me some extra hearts when I am just short of full health before important fights. (I am garbage at dodging and strategic shielding, except in Paper Mario games.)

In Zelda I am most thankful for the legend of Zelda twilight princess WII U HD version because although having to sell both my WII U and the game due to times being tough originally it was a gift given to me by my dad on my graduation from university which to this day I both regret selling and am overwhelmed from receiving

I'm actually thankful that I got a surprise late birthday present of a Majora's Mask framed print that is now proudly hung above my chair. The moon can now glower down on my living for all eternity... or at least until the Dawn of a New Day. (Had to edit, because I typed Final Day. Seriously, who usually ends up talking about the Dawn of a New day when talking Majora's Mask?) lol

I am thankful that all the games are good. So many other franchises have served us duds along with the good games (looking at you, Metroid) and I am so glad that Nintendo has made Zelda games consistently good if not great

There's a lot I'm thankful for Zelda related. To not list everything in existence, here's just a few:
Wolf Link!!!! He is everything to me
    Midna >> any other ZeLink
    Fi and Navi

Nothing on BOTW/TOTK Zelink? You may want to re-edited your comment. Cuz there are evidence throughout both games that there’s the romance between them.

    • @wild180
      @wild180 Před 7 měsíci

@@a.jthomas6132 Never said there wasn't evidence, just that it's not as good. I don't like BotW on a whole anyways, TotK is good though. And I do like totk ZeLink but imo, it holds nothing in comparison to the other two (ie. Not as strong in character/world writing and not as enjoyable). Not going to edit my comment just because someone disagrees, sorry
Edit: "world" writing but not be the right word. Can't think of what I was going for with that ^^' . I'm a story and character lover before gameplay so if those aren't good it may negatively affect my view of a game, hence my dislike of botw as it lacks a lot of story, or story that holds up like past zelda games (and why I'll confidently say aoc was better than botw). I don't really see the zelink in botw as much but it's much cuter in totk, which is a better game on a whole. Though it lacks wolf link >:(

I'm thankful that Tears of the Kingdom exists, and even with all the craziness in the world right now, at least the future of the Zelda franchise looks bright indeed! Now, excuse me, I still need to beat ToTK, I'm coming for you Demon King!

Why would students play tears of the kingdom for a grade that does nothing for the college program
