How did you make the characters fit into the envirmont like that, green screen with lights in the place where the sun would be?
Yep! The old movie effects I added I think do a lot to sell the look as well.

lighting and color grading do most of the work for me! I Just put all my lights on one side so it kinda mimics the sun, and then color grade the subject to match the background!
