I also bought some plants which you recommended and one of them is green rheo and it is doing great in leca. I am going to buy varigated ones when i find it. Growing in soiless medium is awesome experience.

I have several types of Tradescantia that need to be converted. I’m also gonna try soil-to-Pon with the common purple _Tradescantia pallida_ 'Wandering Jew' or 'Purple Heart'… bc just like a lot of plants, I haven’t seen anyone attempt that online, nor T. zebrina, Callisia repens, or 'Nanouk', etc. But I’m loving semi hydro now that I’m finally doing it, and it works. With the Wandering Jew, I imagine it would go nuts, as that plant goes nuts generally everywhere it’s planted, in sun or shade…probably best if I go easy on the nutrients too. It’s practically unstoppable here in California-except when rootbound! 😂I’ve had mine in the same 8” pot for several years, and now it’s basically stopped producing new leaves or offshoots, but is still living. As long as I care for it, the leaves it has just get plumper and more purple. I see it going crazy in semi hydro. I’ve also not seen many people put tradescantia on moss poles or trained vertically. That’s something else I’m doing!
