- Hello sweet friends, thank you so much for being here! Today I'll be showing you in a short video how I create the swatch cards I use for my swatching videos! Apologies for the fluctuating light, it's been a very cloudy day here in the mountains :(

Absolutely love how you make swatch cards a work of art in themselves! You really take swatching to a new level. I have tried using different subjects as swatches like owls and sea shells, very similar idea to when you swatched pencil colors using trees ( loved that video) …But you make swatching look so enjoyable and fun! Love how much work you put into your swatch cards. Not sure I’d have the patience 😂 At the moment I try to fit in art projects around looking after my 96 year old mum who loves to draw and colour. It makes her very happy 😊

@@lilymoonart hi...im mikelle actully lol, natty is my daughter who graciously shares her internet access with me so i can learn art knowledge..we have a tight budget with helping my daughter thru her college years so we have to share items, internet ,tablet, car,..were very grateful for what we do have cause of many people in this world are struggling with so much less and are living in conflict or war zones or dealing with natural disaters or other problems..sometimes i feel guilty having art products or thinking about art supplies and saving up for them...as others are struggling across this world so when im creating art projects i say a blessing to all artists across the global community that they can create something that makes their art soul fulfilled that day.but thank you for your response i enjoy your videos ..mikelle art mom✍🎨👩🎨💛🇨🇦🇺🇸
I can never get the boxes right, I always end with a narrower one on one side, just can't work out how to get them even!!! I've set up my smart tv, WiFi bulbs, WiFi printer ect but can't measure boxs to fit a page 😂
Doesn't this background change the overall colour of the swatch? I noticed it in your video where you mixed grays.
