As a person who's both parents and brother are narcissists, I can say there is no way(!) this is only a childhood trauma, it has to be genetic as well. Besides my parents parents were ...quite nice people. If I had parents like that I would only have 100th of the trauma I got from my immediate parents. I am actually a super empath, I have hight emotional intelligence and good overall intelligence. I don't feel for narcissists at all. My parents nearly killed me with their treatment, they knew what they were doing! When I told my mother on the phone that I finally know what condition I suffer ( which is an autoimmune condition and severe adhd), my mother just hang up on me and never spoke agaun, never rang, she know my number. At this point I am glad our communication is over.
I caught narcissists so many times on lies. They are evil!
