The 757 is the twin otter of Boeing
More like the Cessna. Or even the Cub
What is the twin otter of airbus?
@@Clu3vr the A318 possibly 🤔 seeing as it’s just a baby A320 so might have noticeably better performance
The twin otter is from Beoing😑🤦♂️

A bit late to the party, I am, but here's a sweet thing to do with the 757: fly an approach at 120 knots at full flaps, and have your mind blown at how SHORT the landing rollout is with a blip of the reversers. I've seen this MANY times when working at KBWI airport when the 757s would land on RWY 33L. The former airline, TWA, would regularly squeak on the numbers, and stop literally BEFORE the cross runway 10-28, and then turn off on the immediate taxiway on Taxiway D3 (possibly a very light flight from KSTL?). Most times, United would land, blip the reverse thrust, and turn off immediately crossing 10-28 onto Taxiway R when most flights would thunder down the runway at full reverse to turn off at either Taxiway H or Taxiway P. A lot of times, Southwest would turn off at Taxiway F with the -700NGs after HEAVY braking and full reverse thrust. Another challenging airport which you can do with ease utilizing the Atari Ferrari: KMDW (Chicago-Midway Airport). Shortest runway in America: Norman Mineta San Jose International (KSJC) in California with a monster of a takeoff procedure which requires an immediate reduction of thrust for noise abatement procedures.
In my opinion, The Boeing 757 is such an incredible and an amazing aircraft due to it's size, passenger capacity, and it's crazy performance because one of the most interesting facts that i've known for quite sometime is American Airlines usually flown their already retired 757 to Toncontin International Airport, which is the 2nd most extreme airports in the world and because i watched a historical viral video of a Boeing 757 landing in Tegucigalpa, Honduras several times and my god that was pretty crazy.

My favorite plane! As I said in the last video, the 757 can fly fast because it's built to fly on very high runways/high pressure areas, that's why the engines are so strong.
idk if you know what you’re talking about, high pressure areas? and the RB211s are powerful but not much more than other engines of its category, it’s just the 757 is a lighter aircraft compared to most
@@aeronaut1906 Many call the 757 a rocket because of how powerful the engines are, and I'm not really a nerd but the lighter your aircraft is, the stronger it's engines are. That's why it can fly on very high runways!
I'm not a nerd so I don't wanna make a wall of replies, so let's end it here so we don't make any argument.
(if you like reading)
The 757's higher thrust-to-weight ratio allowed it to take off from short runways and serve airports in hot and high conditions with higher ambient temperatures and thinner air, offering better takeoff performance than that offered by competing aircraft. (wikipedia)
@@Confederation_of_the_Rhine well there’s nothing special about the rb211 as much as i admire it. it’s used on many different aircraft, not unique to the 757. and i believe you meant low pressure areas, ie high altitude airports
@@aeronaut1906Yeah... I get high and low pressure areas mixed. Sorry about that!
May the 757 live on as an absolute marvel of aviation beside the magnificent 747

I like the 757, it has a sleek look and on the front it looks really adorable with the small body size and large in-comparison cockpit. Condor has some cute liveries for that plane (for example "Wir Lieben Fliegen").
How realistic the plane looks in that moment 6:47
Hi Swiss you are awesome 😊 and inspired me to be a pilot when I graduate ❤ keep up the good work 🎉
How to stall a airplane: be birgenair 301
The A321 is also incredibly agile. It can sit 225 passengers and still only use 2000ft of runway
I’d love to see that
but it’s smaller and less powerful
@@FrequencyORD ?
Also the A321 is less iconic

6:52 "how are you able to stall this airplane" Birgenair Flight 301
0:30 Bro was holding in a Hiccup or a yawn 🥱
As an unwise and controversial Oompa Loompa once said "I also recommended to 'bad maintenance' Boeing that they should not lengthen the unattractive, fat, and slow 737 to get a larger plane. They should go, instead, to an updated, fast, beautiful, and sleek 757, the 'Praying Mantis'.” which gives off the vibes that Boeing should've done a 757 reboot instead of the MAX 10
Was a shame when Boeing thought it could replace the 75 with new variants of the 73. There were many airlines that were highly interested in it. The departure of the 74 from most airlines fleets as quite sad as well but at least there it was pretty much any 4 hole aircraft that bit the dust.
Its amazing how a jet engine plane is better at stopping than some regional turboprop planes!
I like how he gets more and more confident for every takeoff and landing he performs in this video untill he gets way too overconfident in the end.
Hi again Swiss I love your videos! Keep it up!❤
Twin otter: flexing its crazy short runway and STOL skills
The 757: *how dare you oppose me, mortal*
Hi Swiss. Can you do a video about the planes that can land my my local airport? It's Perth Airport (YPPH). Thanks!
I’m your biggest fan to be a pilot when I grow up I will look at your vids every single time nothing can distract me❤

Awesome video 👍🏻
And who loves the pencil plane
The pencil a340?
and the boeing pencil plane is atleast better than the airbus pencil plane
bro your content is best i ever seen
757 is one of my favourite planes. I also have a model of it from "WELLY"
WOW did not expect that!
My fav plane, by far.
Same
The 767 also flies really well
Swiss please i keep asking you every time you upload to play Flight Gear again because they are releasing 2020.4 which has hdr and photo scenery which almost looks like x-plane 12
As much as I love the 737 (the 200's my favorite!), I love the 757 even MORE! I'm eagerly awaiting Bluebird Simulations releasing one for MSFS.
mann nikolaus, es ist 10:34 uhr, ich bin in der shule, jetzt muss ich noch drei stunden warten weil ich des video jetzt nnicht anscheun kann…
Ps. geile videos
I call that plane the buggati in the sky

DC-10: Death Chamber
Remember the dc10 still saves lifes
it would be quite funny if you put those engines on a small plane or a private jet.
I am super excited since in 2 days ima fly on the Boeing 757, for my first time (probably my last)
the 757 has one of the highest thurst-to-weight ratios of any airliner built at 0.341. the only airliners with a better thrust to weight ratio are the Tu-154B at 0.360 and Concorde at 0.372
intresting video swiss001
I can’t wait until the come out with the Airbus A350 and the airbus A380 for Xbox. That will be my dream come true. Those are the only planes I care about and want to fly.
It looks like LatinVFR is gonna be my only hope for a Xbox release because their A321 and A330 is AMAZING!!
i hope they added more variants to this brilliant plane, i hope it will last longer (it is my favourite plane btw.)
I would really love to have this plane back in production with better fuel efficent engines, new cabin door design and modern cockpit that would fix all of it's issues, as it is one of my favourite planes to fly.
3:44 "And these beautiful engines here pulling for Reverse Thrust pull a lot of Reverse Thrust"
swiss is bacckkk suiii
I really love the B757-200
boeing: the 77x is our most powerful airliner yet... *757 intensifies*
Is it crashing on the formation lap?
Bruv its a Boeing 757, not an SF-23💀💀
Tbh my favorite plane is the 757 and it is a nice plane
Hopefully BlueBird Simulations 757 for MSFS 2020 will be good. It looks good so far from what they've been showing us.
Thank you for giving my favorite plane some love!
Every time I see a 757 is think of pencil plane, but I have a newfound respect for it.

Fun fact : the 757 was hijacked

757 : I'm a super good plane
Boeing : Nah ima put an end to you 😈😈💀😭
757, my favorite plane 😎
Still crazy that 747s landed at saint barts and princess juliana
Imagine if they added the GE90X engines to the 757
Please, choose another car for the title and thumbnail. Unless you are trying to tell the 757 is disappointing, unreliable, strategically flawed and brings bad luck
Which is everything a Ferrari F1 car is right now, as of Interlagos 2023 (except Singapore GP)
Please give justice to the 757
Sincerely, aviation fan and Ferrari supporter
I wish we could hear the plane sounds more. Compared to his voice
"butterization" lmao 💀💀💀
I bout my 737-900 off the mfs2020 market place and there is almost no sound in the cockpit or anywhere is there a way you can help me

It's like if you put turbo fan engines on a tin can
What replay tool are you using? NVM, I thought this was MSFS, Xplane 12 be looking as good as MSFS.

Oh damn... I didn't realized that Swiss would turn my "not supposed to be suggestions" comment into a video welp that's nice.
I mean I like it❤
I guess this plane easily passes the vertical takeoff test 😂😂😂
