In defense of the RE 45, a feature that it has is its Titanfall 2 iron sight. I think only one other gun in the game has it where if you ADS it doesn’t zoom in at all. This feature combined with the movement of pistols is what makes it one of my favorite guns. It makes the gun feel extremely accurate especially at close range and with Hammerpoint it becomes a great finisher gun. Great vid tho! Keep up the awesome content.

I love the re 45 especially in arenas if u max it out. With the digital threat and purple stabilizer it has like zero recoil and is a beam

Probably the most underrated weapon in the game. When I first started in S2, my friends made fun of me for preferring it to [e.g. R99] which was understandable. Thing slaps though. Always has. With Hammerpoints, I would say it’s viable late-game even if not the BEST option.

Well tbf there isn’t a whole lot to talk about with it besides powerful sniper. I’m sure almost every player knows what it does by now, though it did get a headshot damage nerf for some stupid reason so he could have maybe mentioned that.

I was kinda hoping to see Merch's opinion on the Kraber, but I agree with everything said
I do agree with the hemlock and prowler being outclassed, but I really don't are. At the end of the day, I play for fun, and I love the satisfaction from using them.
Mid range with Hemlock is pretty great. It’s pretty good in this splits ranked.
Something he didn't really touch on that I think gives the prowler and hemlock a little bit more of an edge is how quickly the slowing effect of heavy ammo stacks in the burst. It seems to me that you slow a player much more significantly and quickly with a hemlock or prowler burst than with a full auto spitfire or flatline.

I have to ask, why the Rampage when it's an LMG and the other 2 are ARs?
Maybe do the havoc instead of the rampage. Have a feature on the best AR this season.
Rampage has 40 bullets max which is still a lot , but ramparts passive adds the extra 6

i have about 2000 hours of play time in apex so i knew what he was going to say about each weapon but somehow i still love watching this kind of videos. i dont know why
Me too. I have about 2200 hours and I also new he was going to say most of those some things I disagree with though like personally the bow is a really good easy to use weapon it’s just the ammo that’s the problem.

I honestly think that Hemlok is a bit slept on weapon, it NEEDS great attatchments to compete with the other ARs, but a fully purpled out hemlok with a 3x is such a great midrange weapon, good damage, easy to control and a huge magazine. "One burst to break the shield, another to break the man." as Bangalore says.

Actually hammerpoint re45 on flesh is one of the highest DPS weapons in the game. 208 DPS higher than even volt. It takes 3rd place behind turbo devo at full ramp up and ramparts minigun.
It's a good secondary. I got a video about it "big boi".
Nobody runs around unshielded tho.
@@nicholasriveness3202 Since it is meant to be use as a sidearm, you are likely going to switch to it when their shield is broken. It can also do that same damage to downed players.
Ramparts turret doesn’t count cause that’s an ability
The three highest dps weapons in the game are the devo at one the hemlock at two and the car at three the devo has 225 the hemlock 214 and the car at 202. Also extra bonus thing the mozam beats the care package masstifs dps with a dps of 135 the masstif has 134.4
@@nicholasriveness3202 it's a good sidearm. Brake armor with primary and knock em out with the hammerpoint re45.
a reminder that Mozambique with hop up can two shot bodyshots cracked opponents.
For me the Flatliners biggest feature is it's hipfire spread. You don't have to ADS in close quarters, which allows you to strafe better.

Yeah I remember the past seasons people thinking the car wasnt that much better than the r-99 but i was thinking that it was much better especially if you hipfire it. even then the recoil when ADSing wasn’t that bad without recoil smoothing

I think what map you’re playing on and even what game mode matters a lot. I find the long bow to be so much stronger on Storm Point especially ranked Storm Point. World’s Edge meta allows for more CQ fights so Subs and Shotguns are better there. Weapons like RE and Mozam are very good in arenas since they’re cost effective.
im not sure how interested anyone else would be, but could you do a video showcasing the differences of like shotgun bolt fire rates and weapon time to kill or dps stuff, i dont know how long that would be so maybe it would have to be a short or something, im not sure

As someone who's pretty new to Apex and FPS's in general, this was a really good breakdown of not just the weapons but aiming concepts and other things that seem like common knowledge to other.

Merchant, I feel like an overlooked aspect of medium and ranged weapons that's missed is projectile velocity. For example, compared to the long bow, I just prefer the repeater now since they do similar body damage and repeater is sick at cqb and hipfire. Compared spitfire I just prefer the hemlock for ranged tapping.

I mained her for a while and I killed my first full team of 3 with her on a no fill game I killed 2 full teams and almost a 3rd by myself and that was back in season 10 before she got buffed her walls are definitely a very strong ability
I took the last few seasons off and since starting again w/ S13 haven't been able to use my favorite rifle the G7!
Well one thing about the alternator is it allows you to kill one full health opponent then snap to another one and hit them really hard without any headshots Involved. Honestly the best weapon to use against the spitfire because you have the crazy movement speeds of an SMG and the above average bullet damage. I've worked too many spitfire abusers with the alternator and I won't let slander persist.
Tbh with the addition of the Hammerpoint rounds the RE-45 can dunk even better than the R-99 now while having one of the best iron sights and not needing a barrel for longer range. The lack of need for a stock is also really good for it.

I honestly find the Bocek much easier to use than the Longbow or the 30-30. I don't know, my arrows just hit. Maybe it's the draw that makes it "feel" easy for me
Tbf the p2020 is one of my favorite weapons lol it has served me well in so many fights as a loyal Secondary 👏 as long as it has hammerpoint on I'm happy I'll pair it with pretty much any gun in the game

I hate when people say shatter cap is useless because it’s not like you pick up 30-30 or bocek for them to be shotguns, you pick them up for them to be long range but in close range rather than switching to a long range gun you can have a decent close range secondary
the repeater (with hop up) is an eva 8 that you can put magazines on, and also use long range
It’s absolutely amazing on Storm Point
You should probably put Season 13 in the title since these weapons will most likely change again later on

I feel that your opinion on the RE45 is biased. It has very fast reload speed, and with hammer points, the DPS is as good as a car or 99. I'd take the HP RE over the 99 anytime.
Considering he had an entire stream dedicated to playing with the RE-45 specifically because he hated it, definitely biased. RE-45 is the best

@@patrickburton1401 but it's a pistol so it gets that pistol strafe speed like the wingman, which comes in super clutch when 1v1ing someone who has cracked movement and aim in a close or mid range engagement. TGM mentioned how helpful it is with the wingman, but noticably didn't with the 45.
@@tanner.mackey.mp3 he didn’t specify the pistol strafe while talking about the RE but that is common knowledge. 1v1s are where the TTK department matters the most. RE has its pluses. It’s prob the best gun in arenas.

I started using the pk just because of Maggie last season. I got so used to her shotgun movement speed that I can't use the pk or eva with other legends because of how slow it feels.

Idk if the buffed the Charge Rifle but I got in my second ever hip fire battle with one yesterday. The first time I ran out of ammo in my flatline and for some reason instead of reloading i pulled out the charge rifle and hit the guy and killed him no problem and this was in late season 10. Yesterday I landed and ended up having to try and 1v2 and I didnt actually kill either of them but with the 4 shots I had I did over 300 damage even tho I was fighting 1v2 with no cover so I was moving like a crazy person. I thought that it was supposed to be really hard to hipfire the charge rifle but it seemed pretty easy and I think I might have won that fight if I didnt need to reload and ran away. My only knowledge of how the hipfire works is from the Wiki which says that the Charge Rifle "sways violently" when you try to hipfire it but it didnt seem that way to me. Maybe it was cuz of how I was moving but I was easily able to hold the beam on their chest and heads. Idk if they buffed it or what but I thought u might want to check this out.
For the charge rifle you should’ve said, “Never use this monstrosity, Thank you. Next up we have the-“

For as little DPS as the Alternator it HURT YOU 😂 you’ve got more of a bone to pick with that little guy then the charge rifle. The alternators fire rate is very controllable and has a lot to offer to newer players. Love your vids, man! Cheerio!
Turn L-Star shots into larger projectile shots and increase the damage, and I’d be in love with it. I so badly want a slower projectile weapon in Apex.
I’m good at controlling the harder to control weapons than the easier to control weapons
I know the 30-30 is hated on and definitely not as good as a flatline or 301 but I think it's underrated, you can do up to 200 damage at range pretty easily with just 4-5 body shots.
The 30-30 isn't comparable to them, it's a marksman weapon. That being said, it's basically just a nerfed Longbow.

Rampage is good for medium range suppressive fire with very little recoil. Rampage and Spitfire both are not very good, but they win fights by being so forgiving of missing shots. G7 is better than both of them for poking damage.

As far as I'm aware, I think the R99 has the exact same TTK as the CAR smg - it also only has an initial vertical recoil - the CAR has a harder recoil pattern. if you spray them both on a wall you will see what I mean.
You only need to pull down and left for the r99 really, and then car is a left and right. But this may have changed.
In my opinion as an OG Player, the R99 is still the best SMG (Only losing to the volt now it's red)
