I teach using just one of many accents in the world. Please only learn it if you like it and if you are interested in learning it. I do not believe there is one “correct” accent or manner of pronunciation and I fully encourage EFL/ESL learners to expose themselves to as many varieties of English around the world to become accustomed to the beautiful variations of this world language. I focus mostly on teaching “Modern RP” (I may just say “RP” in my older videos, but to clarify, I do specifically mean “Modern RP”), however, you will hear a lovely little Yorkshire twang to my accent from time to time too. Please LOVE and BE PROUD of your accent. After all, it is part of your identity and makes you unique. 💚

Thanks Emma. I came across this video randomly, but found it amazingly helpful in having a clear understanding of syllable.
Thank you very much Emma!!! This is the video that I have needed during all my learning English, I was always searching word by word to know the stress and this will help me a lot. Greeting from Argentina!
Thank you so much Emma.I’ve been struggling with word stress and this is the best explanation I’ve ever seen. And your video means a lot to me.
I have learned a lot from you, Emma and I enjoy every word I hear from you. I close my eyes and I have proof again and again that your pronounciation skills are such that your can be perfectly understood even by a profane like me. Thank you so very much
You are an excellent teacher, Emma. Thank you so much.
Thank you Teacher Emma! I love to listening the way you are teaching!
Thanks for this. Your sentence stress video really helped. Though I still can't do those perfectly most of the times. And about this video, I used to think there were no rules on word stress but still from following patterns of different words, I was able to figure out the Verb vs Noun rule of two syllable words. The other rules except the sentence one are new to me. Again thanks a lot for these. My pronunciation has become a lot better thanks to your various videos.
One thing though, I know you mostly do pronunciation videos. But now the thing that I struggle most is punctuation while writing English, which you have probably already noticed.
Emma’s teaching is magical. All of this content are new for me. Easy to understertaining. ❤❤🎉

Well done Emma, I am surprised no one has made this topic easily available in the manner you have. It is a crucial subject that I thought many CZcamsrs would address in the teaching space.
When researching there were hardly ANY videos on this topic, and they seemed to make them all super slow, long, and/or complicated. So I'm really glad I've managed to help people with this video 🥰
