But the second week I started mixing the Drunk Elephant marula oil with Cerave moisturizing cream at night, and holy moly my skin immediately felt better the following day. During the day I just wear the Cerave lotion and Dermalogica sunscreen and my skin is super comfortable. My skin is only slight dry but manageable!
Yes, that would definitely help with the drying, Especially in the first few months. Eventually you will not need to do this as the peeling and dryness go down!

Try using Vaseline or Cerave healing ointment around your mouth where you get the drying, painful cracked skin. This has helped me a lot.
