1.25: Strong winds on the Atlantic Ocean - Atlantic Crossing to the Azores - pt 4 [Eng sub]

The fourth and final part of our Atlantic crossing from Caribbean to the Azores. We download a weather forecast that warns us for an upcoming low pressure. We sail south in hopes to avoid the worst winds. We don't manage to escape the strong winds completely and have a day with winds up to gale-force. The days after the low pressure have passed the wind turn and is coming straight from the Azores. After one day fighting against the wind, current and heavy seas we decided to launch the sea anchor and wait for more favorable winds.
The last part to the Azores goes really quick, med speed record and all, och we arrive after 26 days at sea to a rainy and cloudy Horta.
We are Thomas and Petra and late August 2020 we left Sweden and started our sail towards the Caribbean. With this videos you will be able to tag along on our adventure.
