Oh Lindsey! thank you for sharing your surfing journey, your healing journey. This is literally my dream life, beach, surf, no makeup, barefoot, riding around on dirt bikes, YES!....I wish I had done this when I was younger...44 now with family and responsibilities although I'm still determined to do it some day, never let age stop you. My healing journey probably properly started 4 years ago, which led me to becoming a yoga teacher. It never stops, once you start there are always more and more layers to peel back. You said about being able to bring your Costa Rica feeling back to the UK. We have a word for this when you come back from a yoga training or retreat....integration. Integrating it all back into your day to day life, when you go through something that feels so expansive it can feel strange to come back to something that feels more like a contraction. But this is life, always moving through expansions and contractions, just like when we breath :) (sorry I can talk about this stuff all day). And when you mentioned understanding energy but not the array of emotions you experienced during kap.... Emotion stands for energy in motion E-motion. So when we do these practices it can stir everything up and all the undigested experiences or emotions begin to digest and move through. Hope I make sense. Anyway sorry for rambling!!! Oh I don’t know why but reading all of this made me well up! I think it’s because you’re reflecting back at me what I’m trying to do for myself. Thank you. What a gorgeous thing it is to feel joy in this way and to feel so connected to yourself. I couldn’t agree more that this never stops. SO MANY LAYERS. SO MUCH GROWTH! Integration really is key isn’t it. Allowing contraction has to be part of the growth or I could see how it might make me feel sad or restricted! So much love xxx

I recently returned from a trip to North-eastern Australia and can relate to wanting to carry over the peace and sense of gratitude I had whilst on the trip, into my daily life back home. So far so good. Like you say, healing and evolving is on-going isn't it? Very relatable vlog.

dear lindsay, its been so nice to follow your journey for the past year and watch your content evolve. I have been watching your vlogs and can really see you‘re glowing and going through it all. Had and have quite a similar journey myself for the past few years and wanted to thank you for sharing also the more personal bits. Hope you loved the kundalini, I remember my first session and when I started to dive into meditation and yoga and all these bits for healing. it was intense but all so worth to feel. Maybe you want to try and find Katonah Yoga, which has lots of the elements you seem to love. For me it changed my entire world 😊 Looking forward to follow all your Costa Rica stories - enjoy it dear!

Love this! Untethered Soul is one of those smaller books that takes months to read. When I read it, it took me 5-10 minutes to absorb a single page, sometimes longer. Beautiful stuff, thanks for sharing!

The Untethered Soul was the first spiritual book I read and then it opened the door to a whole new perspective on life and other amazing books.
The books that have been life changing and mind blowing for me have been:
- The Power of Now and A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle (similar vibe to Untethered Soul)
- Ask & It’s Given by Esther & Jerry Hicks
- Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself by Joe Dispenza

absolutely beautiful - thank you for sharing! books that really helped me with my anxiety is you are here - thich nhat hanh, full catastrophe living, and oddly one by dr lara briden that helped me realize that I was often confusing hormone fluctuations for anxiety. oh and if you like meditation try just resting in the dark for 20 minutes with instrumental music or bird song!
now you have to share with me what sunscreens you wear in costa rica because I saw no ghost face in your vlogs lol
