On the right side of my appartment you can find the highway and on the left side the central park of the city. The amount of dust i have in my house is abnormal.
After 2 weeks of using this my house feels fresh and clean. And my sleep has been much much and muchhhh better. I dont wake up with this dryed out sticky mouth and dust everywhere. For everyone having trouble sleeping or allergies because of dust. I 100% recommend this. If you can afford it go for Dyson. If not this is the way

How long do you keep it on for?
I have been searching for the perfect size/performance air purifier for a small bedroom. I’ve tried several that were returned even the Molekule. The Levoit LV H132 seems to be among all the top 5-10 purifier lists for small rooms so I decided to give it a try. Bonus, I purchased from Best Buy because I had a $30 certificate. It arrives tomorrow. So excited. Just wished it had a more appealing aesthetic, but if it works as well as everyone claims then it won’t matter. I prefer creams to white or grey or black but that’s not important. This will be my fourth purifier fingers crossed. 🤞🏽

@@mahsamah6001 I returned it. It didn’t work out for me. It didn’t seem to clear cooking smells. I now use the Levoit 200S Alexa enabled with an app. It works very well for my small bedroom and I can ask Alexa to turn it on and off. I had been looking for this model for a while but it was not available on the website. After continually checking I finally saw it on Amazon.
I'll be getting one next month!! :)
How is it?
I’ve had mine for a few days now. Big difference!
Killed the odors and removed almost all dust in the air.
Even on high speed I can barely hear it.
I added it to my bedside table and the air quality improved within an hour for that part of the room. I have 3 dogs and two cats and suffer from allergies. This thing is great but the one downside at running it next to my bed is it also lowers the humidity in that area of the room leading to dry mucous membranes if you run it at night on 3 like I do. I also bought a Winix 5500-2 for downstairs which is a much larger unit at almost double the initial cost. I bought both on Amazon and am very happy so far.
I completely understand your situation, but please don't put it near your head and run on the third speed all night. Instead, put the Winix 5500-2 in the bedroom and set it on sleep mode.

I just got mine today I have a gaming setup which gets dusty sometimes even when cleaning daily, I also have pets and live with a smoker so that dosen't help the air quality one bit, I've only had it plugged in for around 15 minutes so far seems to be working wel.

Yes, absolutely. You shouldn't leave a window open and use the air purifier at the same time.
How long do you leave these running for? I’ve just bought one to place in my cat room to reduce smells but not sure the length of time to run it
is it true this filter is best for odor, as its carbon pellets instead of the normal round filters.? and i have this in a 5x5 meter room, if i a few times a day turn my tower fan on with sweeping fan motion from the other side of the room towards the filter, and get the air moving, it will make the air purifier filter better over time, if door is closed>?

Yes, absolutely. I have tested this air purifier in a room with birds and a rabbit, and it has made air drastically cleaner. Besides, I have noticed a lot of plumages and rabbit hair attached to the pre-filter.
I will show this test in a new video about the pre-filters, which will be released in two months.
I followed a video on Amazon am confused because I changed my filter for first time after running 24/7. It did not have blue light on until I changed to new filter. Have any idea why I’m seeing blue filter light for first time after changing? Thanks.

The filter reset indicator has to be light off.
If that's the case after replacing the filter, then you can use your air purifier without any concerns.
Just got one for my bedroom a couple days ago. My place gets pretty dusty plus I, like everyone on earth right now, am worried about this virus. Will this help clean the air of stuff like airborne viruses?
It may help with airborne viruses but it's not like it can filter it out if it's persisting throughout the air before it enters your body.
I watched a study about air purifiers on market place and a box fan and furnace filter beat this air purifier and when the reporter asked some questions to levoit they wouldn't get back to them

Almost every electric device is providing a form of electromagnetic radiation, and it's quite "normal." For example, cell phones are having radiofrequency radiation, according to cancer.gov.

@@elsut2357 scare campaign. Anything electrical emits some EMF. May as well cut off your electricity, don’t use a mobile phone or microwave as that clearly emits even more EMF.

Yes, air purifiers might make the air drier (or the air can be drier in winter), but using a humidifier at the same time as a purifier might help.
Hi, can i check something with you, on the top of the purifier where the air blows out, does the air blow out on all sides or 3/4 of the sides? Im not sure if mine is faulty because the air blows out on 3/4 instead of all sides on the top

Yes, you can leave it for 10h or more without worries. I leave some of the air purifiers for days without turning them off.

No, it's not.
The chair is there just as a decoration and to show how big is the air purifier compared to it.

I haven't tested the Levoit Vista 200 yet. It's on schedule for this month to do a test of it. So now I can't give you precise advice.
But, if you have a budget, you might consider buying the Levoit Core 300.
Why would you need to vacuum the post-filter side of the unit? I mean, shouldn't the filter be catching everything?
It can catch "everything" actually, but it's a good habit to clean the post-filter side of the unit from pet hair and similar bigger particles if there are any, because they might harm the filter and reduce its lifespan.

If you are talking about the pre-filter, you will get it with a replacement filter purchase.

@@carmel5765 No, it does not. I have a secondary smoke issue, foul smells and toxic gases like formaldehyde and ammonia coming from an apartment downstairs. This air purifier cannot eliminate such pollutants. Hope it wil help...
This clearly seems capable to do the job but I wonder if I the cheaper box type one is okay for my box room (small bedroom)… the filters for that one are also cheaper hmmmm any advice?

I like the LV-H132 much more and think it is a better choice. You can read an in-depth comparison of the LV-H128 and LV-H132 on the Air Purifier First website.
May I know how many hours can I turn on the air purifier for?
You can run it 24/7, but I recommend turning it off when you are not at home and when there is no need for it to be turned on.
The only reason I am considering buying this is to remove cigarette smoke. Will the Levoit LV-H132 be able to get rid of the smoke? Thank you!
I suggest going with a bigger air purifier with a larger concentration of carbon inside. One such air purifier would be the Winix 5500-2. There is a review on the channel.

It is individual. My suggestion is to try a few different situations to figure out which one suits you the best.

Assuming that common environmental asthma triggers inside your house include dust, mold, pet dander, and similar, then almost any air purifier could help. I suggest taking a look at the Levoit Core P350.
The P350 is almost the same air purifier as the Core 300 (you can find a video review on the channel). The difference is that the P350 is intended for pets.
Does it have an air quality indicator?
No, it doesn't.
Their bigger models, like LV-PUR131 or LV-H133, have an air quality indicator.
ive been using it for a week and i opened the filter nothing is captured, is there supposed to be air sucking in from the botom? Cuz mine doesnt have air sucking in, only air out on the top.
If you can confirm the air purifier throws out air from the top, it simply must take the air from somewhere (from the bottom in this unit). Anyway, one week is not long enough to see dust caught on a pre-filter. Leave it for at least 2 weeks and then check if the pre-filter got dirty.

It is probably a defective unit, so I suggest returning it and replacing it with the new one.

It is suitable for rooms up to 129 sq. ft.
I have bought it ... i looks exactly like in the video when it is on .... but there is no sound or airflow indicates that the filter is on! How can I make sure it is on?
If the unit is on, you must hear the noise of the motor. If you can't hear any noise, then it's not working, and my suggestion would be to contact Levoit for a refund.

This one doesn't have a sleep mode, so you have to use 1st speed, just as you said.

I've seen some comments on amazon about the massive radiation this purifier gives off, is that true?
According to epa.gov, every electric device is providing some amount of radiation, which is not harmful. I think those reviews you have read talk about that type of usual radiation.

It depends, sometimes I leave it for days but sometimes if I feel that the air is clean enough or, if I had to go out of the home, I turn it off.

It can, but I would suggest some more powerful unit for you. Maybe, some bigger Levoit such is the Core 400S.

You can run it 24/7 if you want to.
So the box says it has only 68m3/h (40cfm) and has max coverage for a room of 86ft2 which is really small. With that low cfm and CADR how can it in gods name get these results.. Thats impossible by laws of physics??

The LV-H132 is better than Vista 200, but the Core 300 is better then both of them, especially performance-wise.

@@AirPurifierFirst Thanks again, based on your videos and info I just ordered the H132 today, after seeing how it goes I may save up for the 300, I currently have Sharp Plasmacluster which works but the filters are getting had to find in Canada and cost the same as this Levoit machine :) so Im sort of switching away from the Sharps, not seen much benefit with the plasma cluster side of things.
Consumer Reports rated Levoit LV-H132 as one of the worst air purifiers along with the Molekule Air. They said it was ineffective at removing dust pollen and smoke.
We have a totally different approach to testing air purifiers. Consumer Reports do tests in lab conditions, while I do tests in real-life situations.
Also, I use a particle counter to make tests more trusty and valuable.

The noise level depends on the 1-3 settings with how hard you want the machine to work. You can also upgrade the filters and get one better for pet hair and smells which is a must have in my home. I noticed the air seemed lighter and easier to breathe when running the machine for the first time. Works great every time. Highly recommended!
