My mom has Alzheimer’s. At 65 years old she began to struggle. We need more awareness of this horrible disease. It’s so much more to it. People think they just forget names or so on. No they forget how to take a bath, brush their hair, severe stages they can’t remember how to walk or even swallow their food. I’m 33 years old work full time raising my two little boys and help my dad with my mom in the severe stages. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through! My mom is here but it’s like she’s not here and I miss her so much! I see why they call it the long goodbye. :(
One of the worst part about it is taking care of them hoping they get better but knowing that is just slowly gets worse. One day they can use a fork and knife, the next you’re cutting up their food for them, then you’re feeding them yourself, then they can’t eat altogether. I was taking care of my grandma with my father from 20 to 26 years old until she passed away this April. Hardest thing I’ve ever been through. I lost my ability to cry about it all by the end and found relief when she passed knowing she wasn’t in pain anymore. My love goes to you and your family, may you all find peace when it is over.
Have you read any of the books by Anthony Williams the medical medium? It’s caused by heavy metals in the brain and you can get metals out. I was a CNA at a memory disfunction facility, I had a patient that was put on hospice so he was allowed to stop medication that he dint want to take ( cholesterol) and eat what ever he wanted ( he was on a low fat diet previously) so he requested eggs, bacon and avocado, lunch and dinner ( he wanted to skipp breakfast) and in the matter of weeks he went from needing help to getting out of bed, needing help to eat ect.... to getting out of bed by himself and preforming his basic activities all by himself ( brushing his teeth, hair, using the toilet) and assisting in bigger activities like putting on shoes and dressing himself. We were completely amazed 👏. He never regain memories ( he was 87) but his mood improved, he dint stress out as fast. He ended up passing away during the lockdowns (2021), not from covid or dementia but from a surgery from a broken hip due to a fall that was completely preventable ( low staff issues). I know that is only one experience, but man was it amazing to watch.
Wow! I feel like if we can be left to ourselves. Most of our adult lives, we ask for help when we feel we need it. Educate ourselves, and are financially responsible for ourselves. We should, and are able to live happy, healthy lives....

As a little girl I watched my grandma be effected by Alzheimer’s disease. She went through a horrible slow process of death. And when she went to the doctor the medicines they gave her only seemed to deteriorate her further.

I taught a biology of aging class a few years back. It was a senior level college course and we would read through various famous papers in the field looking at the actual data. After reading through the papers on amyloid plaques no one in the class was sold that they were doing anything - just aggregating after the fact. I agreed with the students, and it infuriated me whenever I would see a news article on drugs targeting plaques. As heartbreaking as it is to think of all the waste, thank goodness this is becoming more common knowledge.

My grandfather couldn't recognise me on his hospital bed. He went to shake my hand and said "nice to meet you". I think I was around 10 years old at the time. That hit me hard, and I grew up a lot that day. Those scientists who knowingly lead us all down a false path, who prolong the discovery of real treatments and/or cures, should receive the harshest of punishments for all the suffering they have engendered. We also need to constantly remind ourselves of not just these events, but others like them in the past too. It is always correct and necessary to be critical and sceptical of science and never incorrect. NEVER allow the media, or the government, or the corporate or academic institutions, or anyone else to ever dissuade you from critical thinking, or to silence people, or we will learn the hard way time and time again, as history continues to demonstrate.
As someone who works with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Patients, I find this topic fascinating. I can’t believe there aren’t better medications out there for this incurable disease that is affecting millions of seniors.
It is the hardest job. I took care of my mom for the last year of her life when I was 26. She had cancer. I almost had a nervous breakdown, but it was VERY worth it! 8 years must have been incredibly hard. Your mom was lucky to have you!

If you're a physician, I just want to say the following. My allergies, type 2 diabetes, autoimmune issues, and early onset Alzheimer's went away after I got on anti parasiticts. Apparently it was normal to deworm in North America until the 80"s when for some reason they stopped doing it. The problem didn't go anywhere, they just stopped treating it. Now there's unlimited chronic issues.

I work on the dementia/Alzheimer’s floor at an assisted living community and it’s a thankless job seeing people and family try to make sense of it. My location is upscale and employees get McDonald’s wages. Day in and day out feeding and caring for people who are absolutely lost and confused but are confined to a prison of mind and living space
Dad is 77 and his mother died from this disease. He has early stages. I moved dads diet away from so many carbohydrates I.e breads etc to more keto and has helped immensely. Very difficult for a person from his era who are heavily carb addicted to change their routine. He gets better, then forgets why he’s feeling so good lol goes back to old habits and feels sick again. Everything in moderation but just increased his beef, lamb, eggs proteins and green leafy veggies. Keep good gut bacteria up regularly. He’s happy

Have you heard of methylene blue? Any thoughts? I've been considering it for my autistic son but he can't say how it makes him feel so I'm hesitant, in micro doses it gives him more speech but makes it hard for him to sleep. In myself if I take it with water it gives me a sore throat and a headache like a dehydration headache. If I take it with orange juice it doesn't seem to bother me but it also seems less effective? Seems to work for everyone else...

Psychedelics are the reason why i didn’t take my life when i was at my end. I was stripped of my ego and saw the beauty of life and interconnectivity and even though i still battle anxiety and depression, I’m doing better everyday and will never think in such a self destructive way again.
LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before."

Stories like this are one of the major pitfalls of the systems we have created. Ego and financial greed have become the driving force for a ton of people. It sucks both ego and greed bring out some of the absolute worst qualities in human beings. Some people literally have no problem robbing their family members and friends just for them to get ahead. My father in law has Alzheimers/dementia we recently moved him in with us to find our some lady was stealing his ss checks and has nothing left so bow we have taken care of him and it's super hard to get by with us let alone adding another person who I have to care for most of the day bathroom showers etc and we just keep our heads up and know we are doing a good thing i just wish I has more time in the day with all I juggle and still barely get by paycheck to paycheck

Having a csect was my wake up call. Kinda knew the medical field wasn’t trust worthy beforehand but the experience drove me to seek other ways to heal myself.
@@laraluna9365 I totally understand. I was working as an RN for 12 yrs, a certified nursing assistant, ward clerk, etc, etc for 9 years before that (since 18 yrs old). And while “in it”….I couldn’t see it. I mean I saw some of the behind the scenes ‘politics’, fought against it when i felt strongly that their “orders” to care for a patient went against logic, evidenced based practice, etc. May have caused others to view me a certain way (momma bear or a passionate patient care advocate) but they usually pegged me as ‘a shit stirrer’. So I’d own it and say, “give me my stick, so I can get started”. Lmfao. Nevertheless, I grew tired of the ‘dance’ you had to dance, got severely burnt out and am no longer in the field. I miss my patients, incredibly. But for my own health, sanity and happiness…I had to take a break. Sadly, looks like the break will be extended. Cause I will NOT play in to their lies. Perhaps I can find a way to care for others as a profession, just not in healthcare. (Unless, I created a consulting company. Where people reach out, not knowing the ins and outs of medicines, insurance, and maximizing care, and I give them the tools to get their loved ones the care they deserve and need. Hmmm. Back in the early 2000s I took my 70 year old mom to a specialist doctor for her headaches. I remember him showing us a scan which had clusters of white spots (plaque) in her brain. He explained to us this was pretty much harmless and gave us no indication that this could cause alzheimers. 5 years later my mom had full blown alzheimers. Just shows that some doctors don't know what their doing.

Absolutely. I got off that train after 10 years of being up-sold and constantly pushed into extra treatment for something numerous doctors said can't be fixed. Yet the hospitals kept pushing for more tests, temporary surgical procedures, and medication which caused extra health issues. In my case, it was a con that kept me coming back to the hospital once or twice every month. Been much happier after dropping that BS and finding my own (legal) natural pain treatment.

We lost my mother in law this summer to Alz/Dementia. This disease is hell on earth. Someday I hope they figure out how to prevent and/or treat it. She was 67 at the time of passing. She started to change about 5 years ago. The last 6 months she degraded very quickly until she became reliant on machines to survive. Call your parents and love them while you still can! My wife lost her best friend and all I can do is be a shoulder to cry on.
I can vouch for this my motherin law just died from this and my actual mother isn't far away . I know the meds that my mother in law was on just stopped her appetite and did nothing else she was remembering all of us even on the day she passed . My mother is on these meds and it's done nothing for her except make her vomit . My mother doesn't know who we all are and hasn't for 2 years at least . It's a disgrace what is happening with this type of treatment

Not surprised honestly. I’ve hurt my back before , and I’ve seen friends and family hurt their back, and every single solution given by doctors was to lay off any physical activity, rest, and take the pain pills. I listened to the first time and it toon me almost a month to fully heal. The second time I tweaked my back, I did the heat and ice, I stretched daily for 20-30 min at a time (it wasn’t really painful but I was determined to test my theory), and I tried to move around the best I could. I healed fully in a week. I know that my experience isn’t exactly the scientific approach, but after speaking with others, I think it’s safe to say that most doctors and hospitals focus on numbing pain and disease, not taking measures to heal the patient. Don’t get me wrong, doctors are necessary for many things, such as surgery, but I’d hesitate to take their advice when they start prescribing pills without knowing exactly what’s going on with you and your body

yeah in my personal experience, while i was using pain pills my wounds healed slower compared to when i wasn’t using them. i’m not sure if this is factual but i think pain pills slow the rate of cell growth/ wound healing

Just stretching to cure bone,muscle, joint,liniment,headache pain etc. If works a charm. Lay in bed on your back, bring knees to chest 1 at a time, roll to your side and bring knees to the chest, roll to other side and repeat.

When I was suffering from encephalitis, I was prescribed Alzheimer’s medication. (Can’t remember which one.) It gave me terrible nightmares. I hadn’t had a nightmare in the previous 20 years. I took myself off the meds and always wondered if some of the things people with Alzheimer’s say, are triggered by these medications.

My grandma just recently got diagnosed with Alzheimer’s this is freaking heartbreaking man, what a waste of 16 years of research, I hope we can finally move forward with finding a way to help people with this disease.

Research methylene blue. It's not a promise, I'm still learning about it myself. I have to take 1/10 the recommended dose mixed with orange juice or I get a horrible headache and soar throat. BUT if you do consider it, it must be pharmaceutical grade safe for human consumption. BUT again, research and share with your family before anything else.

My father is on this treatment. Has been for years in the early clinical trials. It seemed to slow down the progression, at least we thought. The trials were stopped for a bit, and he declined rapidly after being removed from it. When they started it back, he got back on it. It does seem his mental decline slowed while on it, however his motor functions have gotten so much worse. Note: he had early onset alzheimers, started noticing symptoms in 2008. When someone is dealing with a disease that progresses this rapidly, high risk treatments to us at the time, seemed worth the shot.

My grandma is going through early onset Alzheimer's we think as a family.. her memory has been going at a very fast rate. And it's been so hard to watch, even from a far I just don't want it to be true. My uncle also killed himself a year ago and I've kinda noticed since my uncle's death, my grandma's memory has been going faster since that traumatic event..

Chase-I took of my Mother for 14 years. Thank GOD she didn’t suffer with Alzheimer’s, but she passed last year at 95 1/2 and it was some work to take care of her, especially since we were close and she required a big part of my life. Can’t imagine what you’re dealing with, but on a smaller note, I understand. No one (3 siblings) wanted to help her, but now they all have their hands out. Just remember, as hard as it is, you’re doing a great thing and some day you will understand that and you will be rewarded. Stay strong and may GOD be with you.
My mom has Alzheimer’s. At 65 years old she began to struggle. We need more awareness of this horrible disease. It’s so much more to it. People think they just forget names or so on. No they forget how to take a bath, brush their hair, severe stages they can’t remember how to walk or even swallow their food. I’m 33 years old work full time raising my two little boys and help my dad with my mom in the severe stages. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through! My mom is here but it’s like she’s not here and I miss her so much! I see why they call it the long goodbye. :(

One of the worst part about it is taking care of them hoping they get better but knowing that is just slowly gets worse. One day they can use a fork and knife, the next you’re cutting up their food for them, then you’re feeding them yourself, then they can’t eat altogether. I was taking care of my grandma with my father from 20 to 26 years old until she passed away this April. Hardest thing I’ve ever been through. I lost my ability to cry about it all by the end and found relief when she passed knowing she wasn’t in pain anymore. My love goes to you and your family, may you all find peace when it is over.

Have you read any of the books by Anthony Williams the medical medium? It’s caused by heavy metals in the brain and you can get metals out. I was a CNA at a memory disfunction facility, I had a patient that was put on hospice so he was allowed to stop medication that he dint want to take ( cholesterol) and eat what ever he wanted ( he was on a low fat diet previously) so he requested eggs, bacon and avocado, lunch and dinner ( he wanted to skipp breakfast) and in the matter of weeks he went from needing help to getting out of bed, needing help to eat ect.... to getting out of bed by himself and preforming his basic activities all by himself ( brushing his teeth, hair, using the toilet) and assisting in bigger activities like putting on shoes and dressing himself. We were completely amazed 👏. He never regain memories ( he was 87) but his mood improved, he dint stress out as fast. He ended up passing away during the lockdowns (2021), not from covid or dementia but from a surgery from a broken hip due to a fall that was completely preventable ( low staff issues).
I know that is only one experience, but man was it amazing to watch.

I taught a biology of aging class a few years back. It was a senior level college course and we would read through various famous papers in the field looking at the actual data. After reading through the papers on amyloid plaques no one in the class was sold that they were doing anything - just aggregating after the fact. I agreed with the students, and it infuriated me whenever I would see a news article on drugs targeting plaques. As heartbreaking as it is to think of all the waste, thank goodness this is becoming more common knowledge.

My grandfather couldn't recognise me on his hospital bed. He went to shake my hand and said "nice to meet you". I think I was around 10 years old at the time. That hit me hard, and I grew up a lot that day. Those scientists who knowingly lead us all down a false path, who prolong the discovery of real treatments and/or cures, should receive the harshest of punishments for all the suffering they have engendered. We also need to constantly remind ourselves of not just these events, but others like them in the past too. It is always correct and necessary to be critical and sceptical of science and never incorrect. NEVER allow the media, or the government, or the corporate or academic institutions, or anyone else to ever dissuade you from critical thinking, or to silence people, or we will learn the hard way time and time again, as history continues to demonstrate.
As someone who works with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Patients, I find this topic fascinating. I can’t believe there aren’t better medications out there for this incurable disease that is affecting millions of seniors.

It is the hardest job. I took care of my mom for the last year of her life when I was 26. She had cancer. I almost had a nervous breakdown, but it was VERY worth it! 8 years must have been incredibly hard. Your mom was lucky to have you!

If you're a physician, I just want to say the following. My allergies, type 2 diabetes, autoimmune issues, and early onset Alzheimer's went away after I got on anti parasiticts. Apparently it was normal to deworm in North America until the 80"s when for some reason they stopped doing it. The problem didn't go anywhere, they just stopped treating it. Now there's unlimited chronic issues.

I work on the dementia/Alzheimer’s floor at an assisted living community and it’s a thankless job seeing people and family try to make sense of it. My location is upscale and employees get McDonald’s wages. Day in and day out feeding and caring for people who are absolutely lost and confused but are confined to a prison of mind and living space

Dad is 77 and his mother died from this disease. He has early stages. I moved dads diet away from so many carbohydrates I.e breads etc to more keto and has helped immensely. Very difficult for a person from his era who are heavily carb addicted to change their routine. He gets better, then forgets why he’s feeling so good lol goes back to old habits and feels sick again. Everything in moderation but just increased his beef, lamb, eggs proteins and green leafy veggies. Keep good gut bacteria up regularly. He’s happy

Alzheimer is more a lifestyle thing than genetics. Most people stop reading books and studying after school/university. Most people don't exercise their mind after 30. Ofc your mind deteriorates when you're 60 or 70 after not doing shit with your brain for 40 years...

I've been considering it for my autistic son but he can't say how it makes him feel so I'm hesitant, in micro doses it gives him more speech but makes it hard for him to sleep. In myself if I take it with water it gives me a sore throat and a headache like a dehydration headache. If I take it with orange juice it doesn't seem to bother me but it also seems less effective? I’m so so sorry but the best thing you can do for your child is not treat them as if they are ill. Believe me, I know that fist hand.

The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before."

Stories like this are one of the major pitfalls of the systems we have created. Ego and financial greed have become the driving force for a ton of people. It sucks both ego and greed bring out some of the absolute worst qualities in human beings. Some people literally have no problem robbing their family members and friends just for them to get ahead. If only there was a way to eliminate greed without sacrificing innovation. Unfortunately most people care more about money and prestige more than they care about the population as a whole growing.

My father in law has Alzheimers/dementia we recently moved him in with us to find our some lady was stealing his ss checks and has nothing left so bow we have taken care of him and it's super hard to get by with us let alone adding another person who I have to care for most of the day bathroom showers etc and we just keep our heads up and know we are doing a good thing i just wish I has more time in the day with all I juggle and still barely get by paycheck to paycheck

Having a csect was my wake up call. Kinda knew the medical field wasn’t trust worthy beforehand but the experience drove me to seek other ways to heal myself.
@@laraluna9365 I totally understand. I was working as an RN for 12 yrs, a certified nursing assistant, ward clerk, etc, etc for 9 years before that (since 18 yrs old). And while “in it”….I couldn’t see it. I mean I saw some of the behind the scenes ‘politics’, fought against it when i felt strongly that their “orders” to care for a patient went against logic, evidenced based practice, etc.
May have caused others to view me a certain way (momma bear or a passionate patient care advocate) but they usually pegged me as ‘a shit stirrer’. So I’d own it and say, “give me my stick, so I can get started”. Lmfao.
Nevertheless, I grew tired of the ‘dance’ you had to dance, got severely burnt out and am no longer in the field. I miss my patients, incredibly. But for my own health, sanity and happiness…I had to take a break.
Sadly, looks like the break will be extended. Cause I will NOT play in to their lies.
Perhaps I can find a way to care for others as a profession, just not in healthcare.
(Unless, I created a consulting company. Where people reach out, not knowing the ins and outs of medicines, insurance, and maximizing care, and I give them the tools to get their loved ones the care they deserve and need.

Back in the early 2000s I took my 70 year old mom to a specialist doctor for her headaches. I remember him showing us a scan which had clusters of white spots (plaque) in her brain. He explained to us this was pretty much harmless and gave us no indication that this could cause alzheimers. 5 years later my mom had full blown alzheimers. Just shows that some doctors don't know what their doing.

Doctors and psychiatrists are no different than auto repair people. They will upsell, misdiagnose and suggest repairs that don’t need fixing.
Absolutely. I got off that train after 10 years of being up-sold and constantly pushed into extra treatment for something numerous doctors said can't be fixed. Yet the hospitals kept pushing for more tests, temporary surgical procedures, and medication which caused extra health issues. In my case, it was a con that kept me coming back to the hospital once or twice every month. Been much happier after dropping that BS and finding my own (legal) natural pain treatment.

We lost my mother in law this summer to Alz/Dementia. This disease is hell on earth. Someday I hope they figure out how to prevent and/or treat it. She was 67 at the time of passing. She started to change about 5 years ago. The last 6 months she degraded very quickly until she became reliant on machines to survive. Call your parents and love them while you still can! My wife lost her best friend and all I can do is be a shoulder to cry on.
I can vouch for this my motherin law just died from this and my actual mother isn't far away . I know the meds that my mother in law was on just stopped her appetite and did nothing else she was remembering all of us even on the day she passed . My mother is on these meds and it's done nothing for her except make her vomit . My mother doesn't know who we all are and hasn't for 2 years at least . It's a disgrace what is happening with this type of treatment

Not surprised honestly. I’ve hurt my back before , and I’ve seen friends and family hurt their back, and every single solution given by doctors was to lay off any physical activity, rest, and take the pain pills. I listened to the first time and it toon me almost a month to fully heal.
The second time I tweaked my back, I did the heat and ice, I stretched daily for 20-30 min at a time (it wasn’t really painful but I was determined to test my theory), and I tried to move around the best I could. I healed fully in a week.
I know that my experience isn’t exactly the scientific approach, but after speaking with others, I think it’s safe to say that most doctors and hospitals focus on numbing pain and disease, not taking measures to heal the patient. Don’t get me wrong, doctors are necessary for many things, such as surgery, but I’d hesitate to take their advice when they start prescribing pills without knowing exactly what’s going on with you and your body

yeah in my personal experience, while i was using pain pills my wounds healed slower compared to when i wasn’t using them. i’m not sure if this is factual but i think pain pills slow the rate of cell growth/ wound healing

When I was suffering from encephalitis, I was prescribed Alzheimer’s medication. (Can’t remember which one.) It gave me terrible nightmares. I hadn’t had a nightmare in the previous 20 years. I took myself off the meds and always wondered if some of the things people with Alzheimer’s say, are triggered by these medications.

My grandma just recently got diagnosed with Alzheimer’s this is freaking heartbreaking man, what a waste of 16 years of research, I hope we can finally move forward with finding a way to help people with this disease.
wasn't entirely wasted, as I believe the a working theory on tau being the true cause of Alzhiemers was being researched from 15yrs ago as many researchers were doubtful of the amyloid plaque theory
Research methylene blue. It's not a promise, I'm still learning about it myself. I have to take 1/10 the recommended dose mixed with orange juice or I get a horrible headache and soar throat. BUT if you do consider it, it must be pharmaceutical grade safe for human consumption. BUT again, research and share with your family before anything else.
Turpentine and carnivore diet will cure.
I had early onset Alzheimer's. It was caused by having parasites for many decades. Literally the i-drug that shall not be named gave me my mind and life back. I hope this helps. I truly do.

My father is on this treatment. Has been for years in the early clinical trials. It seemed to slow down the progression, at least we thought. The trials were stopped for a bit, and he declined rapidly after being removed from it. When they started it back, he got back on it. It does seem his mental decline slowed while on it, however his motor functions have gotten so much worse. Note: he had early onset alzheimers, started noticing symptoms in 2008. When someone is dealing with a disease that progresses this rapidly, high risk treatments to us at the time, seemed worth the shot.
Mate you shouldn't feel guilty at all. Nobody is supposed to know that scientists, which we all think so highly of, could be so corrupt. Try to get him on a ketogenic diet, maybe this could help him. Wish you the best

My grandma is going through early onset Alzheimer's we think as a family.. her memory has been going at a very fast rate. And it's been so hard to watch, even from a far I just don't want it to be true. My uncle also killed himself a year ago and I've kinda noticed since my uncle's death, my grandma's memory has been going faster since that traumatic event..

Thats the first I've heard about the subject. I did hear there was a drug in trials, but that was about it. Now, this makes me want to cry. I have Alzheimer's in my family and I'm getting up there in age. It would be far worse than actual death than to suffer a death that Alzheimer's brings. Now I'm afraid again. I guess my plans to off myself aren't so "on-hold" as they were. So far so good. I'm almost 60 and haven't shown any signs of having Alzheimer's - at least that I know of...

It's amyloid fibrin clots. Saw on twitter a group of docs (concerned about effects of the vax) have got to the bottom of it. Good news is it is treatable via blood thinners and supplements like nattokinase. Unfortunately only few vaccinated people know the risk. Also an issue with those who have gotten long covid.

Chase-I took of my Mother for 14 years. Thank GOD she didn’t suffer with Alzheimer’s, but she passed last year at 95 1/2 and it was some work to take care of her, especially since we were close and she required a big part of my life. Can’t imagine what you’re dealing with, but on a smaller note, I understand. No one (3 siblings) wanted to help her, but now they all have their hands out. Just remember, as hard as it is, you’re doing a great thing and some day you will understand that and you will be rewarded. Stay strong and may GOD be with you.
