- Welcome to this let's play of Friday Night Funkin Mod Vs. Ourple Guy V2!
A lot of you really wanted me to play this mod and I finally was able to get to it. I enjoy the Five Nights at Freddy's series so I was really excited to play this mod. What I wasn't excited for was how potentially scary this was going to be because I don't do well when it comes to scary things...Overall this was a super fun mod to play!

Just wanted to say I LOVE your videos, and honestly I'm glad you checked out V2 before V3 because it might honestly make V3 even cooler lol (Fave song is Followed btw) What I will say is this mod has a LOT of very deep cut refrences in it so I wanted to take this comment time to try and help people who don't know understand the references in the mod lol
Midnight: This song is a reference to the Midnight Motorist minigame from FNAF 6. We don't exactly know what the lore is behind this one yet but basically the song is based off of a secret section in that minigame where you play as the orange guy you're facing.
Terminated: This is kinda double referencing to FNAF World (the RPG one) and FNAF 6. The character you face is Henry who was William Afton's business partner (or Ourple Guy in this universe lol).
Blubber: I don't even know about this one lol It's not FNAF related it's just a joke song lol.
Performance: This ones kinda straightforward too but it's a reference to the Fredbear and Spring Bonnie minigame from FNAF 3 (The bite minigame you mentioned with Fredbear is FNAF 4).
Trapped: Okay this is a strange one to explain lol But basically the character is called Salvage, back when FNAF 3 wasn't out and we were getting teasers for Springtrap (we didn't know at the time who he was lol) and basically people mirrored an image of one of these teasers and it made the face in his right arrow pose so we thought it was a new Freddy variant lol.
Go Fish: You got it fairly spot on lol but yeah it's Old Man Consequences who was in a secret ending for FNAF World.
Beatbox: It's a meme reference as you probably could guess lol. That's Abdul Cisse who does beat boxes on TikTok and stuff lol He was the one who started the "Har Har Har" meme lol
Showtime: Another mini game reference this time to FNAF 2 as this one basically explains the Puppets origin. The funny little lad you face in the song is Cakebear, we don't actually know which Freddy it is (I think) but yeah that's just what people call him lol
Man: V3 of the mod is gonna explain this one do I'll just let it do that lol
Followed: Okay this one is pretty obvious as well that it's Shadow Freddy from the "Follow Me" minigame from FNAF 3 but judt know he is gonna be a very important character in V3, mo spoilers though lol
Fazfuck News: So I'm not entirely sure myself but going off of what people have told me this is a reference to in old FNAF fan comic from I think 2016? If any of you guys habe the full context lemme know
Criminal: This is a reference to a really popular FNAF VHS CZcams series known as the "Squimpus Tapes". Unfortunately the creator of that series is kinda a bad person so yeeeeah I do not recommend watching it now lol (V2 came out before all that happened so that's why it's still in this version)
Miller: This is a reference to a pretty funny FNAF Fangame called "Dayshift at Freddy's" it's a hard game to describe because it has a MASSIVE amount of lore but basically the song is a refrence to the ending of the 3rd game. You play as Jack (the orange guy) and his team to face Henry Miller. Who is basically an alternative version of the Henry from FNAF 6 that instead of leaving William and being a "Good guy" he instead is just as evil, infact more evil than William in this alt timeline.

Blubber is in reference to a funny movie poster (not for an actual movie, just some poster of sorts) the Ourple Team found and made it into a song just for the funny. And yeah it doesn’t have anything to do with fnaf lol
I can explain a bit more about Man. He’s definitely not related to fnaf at all, basically you can think of everything related to Man (or actually named, NGeraldT) as an original character to this mod in particular
Fazfuck News is in reference to not a comic, its animation series called S.A.M (Springtrap and Mangle) that started very early in the old days of fnaf, and its still going to this day actually! In fact, the artist and creator of the series made all the sprites and stage for Faznews in V3 of Vs Ourple Guyas thats how Springtrap and Mangle look nowadays

I purposely played V2 so I can see differences in V3 😅 (I added that detail in the video description) I plan on playing V3 immediately after.
I was scared at first, but I honestly understand and respect it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any youtuber do this with fnf mods

I highly recommend playing the dayshift at freddys trilogy as it gives context for miller and is also just an absolute great game series

Ourple Guy: just a meme (his name is Ourple Guy instead of Purple Guy. don't know where it's from essentially) his voice is sampled from the background voice in the fnaf minigame
Midnight: based on the secret you get in the mini game Midnight Motorist from Pizzeria Simulator (or fnaf 6)
Terminated: Based on the canon ending of Pizzeria Simulator where Henry Emily, starts monaloging about the story of fnaf has ended (before the games after it of course). the name of the song is taken from the speech, that starts with "connection terminated" the end of the song is a scene from FNAF World Update 2
Lurking: based off of a secret fnaf 3 minigame. The character's official name is RWQFSFASXC (RWQ or Shadow Bonnie for short) the song has a bit of the song from that minigame in it
Lore: It's just MatPat. you know him. One pose shows the character he plays in FNAF the Musical (the right arrow) and one shows him as his CZcams original series "Game Lab" (the down arrow)
Blubber: Couldn't find much on this one, but it seems to just be a joke character named Fat Jones that they put in the mod
Golden: Phone guy's voice (which is just Scott Cawthon) is sampled for the phone and Golden Freddy's voice is sampled. The background is just the fnaf 1 office and they used some of the sounds from the first game in the song (doors, jumpscare, phone, etc)
Performance: this is yet another secret fnaf 3 minigame reference where you play as Fredbear (the bunny is Springbonnie. the bear is Fredbear)
Bite: based on Markiplier's fnaf playthrough. his voice, freddy's laugh, golden freddy's glitch sound, and foxy's voice is sampled. Ends with the theme from FNAF song by The Living Tombstone
Trapped: From what i could find, it's based on a hoax character for fnaf 3 called Salvage
Go Fish: based on the character Old Man Consequences (OMC), a character that you could see if you went too far down in the Flipside in FNAF World or caught a fish in UCN when OMC was on 1 difficulty with no other characters
Watchful: based on the ending of FNAF 4 after the Bite of '83 (mistaken as the Bite of '87 for a while). The name of the song is based on the theory that the child you play as in the game (Crying Child) is being watched by his father William Afton through the eyes of the Fredbear plushie
Restless: The moment after the Crying Child dies due to being bitten by Fredbear
Beatbox: is a reference to a TikTok creator Abdul Cisse, who beatboxed the fnaf 1 song by The Living Tombstone
Showtime: based on a minigame from fnaf 2 called Take Cake to the Children, which is where fans learned the origins of the Marionette (or Puppet) You are sing against Cakebear while a kid gets killed by Ourple Guy in the background
Man: may be based on the background people in certain fnaf minigames (mainly the kids in the fnaf 2 minigames i believe)
Followed: based on the normal fnaf 3 minigames you get after every night you beat, where the fnaf 1 animatronics follow Shadow Freddy just to be taken apart by William Afton. The ventilation alarm and "bite" sound from fnaf 4 used in the song
FazFuck News (i can't believe it's called this): based on a Springtrap and Mangle series by Quiet Tomato (pretty sure it was a Springtrap X Mangle fanfic series too but I could be wrong)
Criminal: reference to a analogue horror series by Squimpus McGrimpus. The song shows the face or picture that is supposed to be William Afton in it. a lot of people liked the series (even me) until some controversy with the creator came up. It has since been removed from the Ourple Guy mod because of that (you can look into the controversy if you want. I don't wanna get into it). It seems to be the only removed song as far as I know
Miller: Based on the final battle against Henry Miller, the main antagonist of Dayshift at Freddy's 3. It is known in these fan games that Henry mentally manipulates others into getting what he wants. the words he's saying in the song is him attemping to make your teammates give up
The amount of extra effort you made by choosing to play both V2 and V3 willingly has earned my respect. I haven't seen your channel yet, but I hope you try(or have tried) the Vs FNAF 1, FNAF 2, and FNAF 3 sometime too!
I will always love Miller and Followed in this mode. I just love those !

it'd be pretty cool if you played dayshift at freddy's to be honest (the game that miller is based off of), goes into pretty good lore while also being enjoyable the entire time
Pretty sure someone else said it but the final song is from the third game of a series of fan games called Dayshift at Freddy’s. Hope u check them out cause they are some of the best ever made
Miller is easily my favorite song of V2 and narrowly my favorite in V3 (partially because DSaF is one of the best fan games fight me). It is an amazing representation of the good ending of DSaF 3 and is the only song in the mod with two endings (I think). The opening is a reference to different endings in DSaF, the midsong dialogue is straight from the game, and the end screen is both a reference to the scottgames website and the ending of DSaF.
DSaF is also a really fitting idea for a Vs Ourple Guy song because the two are almost parallels of each other. DSaF improved its world and writing drastically between its different games while Vs Ourple Guy improved its music and art a lot. The first version of both were basically just memes and only had a basic idea of what it was. The second version is a solid mix of memes and high-quality content. Then the third game was honestly too good to be considered just a joke game. It’s just a really fitting song for this mod as a whole.

Followed is my favorite song. Shadow freddy is also called "sinnoh" and can shape shift so that's why he can turn into the others. (Im talking about V3.1 btw)

Strange, you played v2, but I understand why. This definitely helps you compare v2 to v3. Will say beyond just v3 now that Base Game just got an update, it would be Reccomended to play.
I wanted to experiment this time around so I can notice differences between mod versions 😄 I'll be playing V3 immediately afterwards.

If i am not mistaken, "Terminated" is the ending of Fnaf pizzeria simulator, where the co-owner of Fazbear tries to trap every animatronic in a building and set it fire. There is a monolog he does that is pretty epic.
"Midnight" is supposed to be purpke guy getting kicked out of a bar as ge was too drunk, if i don't misremembering, that's when he does his first murder
I thought exactly the same thing with terminated lol with the arcade machine having a tv on it and showing a burning place.
