@@scalesthecobra9685 yeah, didnt wanna go to into detail with my comment because I was tired, the idea for "Yourself" was a great one though, sad, but very good, and I like the detail they added where you can kinda see his GF/Herself when he says "just long" during the lyrics part, but I can also see how some people can mistake him for a bad guy at first glance, his intro is him smacking you away with his mic, which can be perceived as him being bad and how he looks being another way to see it wrong

The original dev for the silly Billy mod but he passed away in his sleep due to cancer so the rest of the team decided to finish the mod to honor him
The lyrics “So stay awake just long enough to see my way” is a reference to that.

The fact that divide (a mod/dev for the sonic.exe mod) died from cancer in his sleep. So somebody saw a sketch of the alternate version of Boyfriend and decided to make a mod out of it, that’s why one of the lyrics say, so stay awake long enough you would have seen my way, which means to see the creators way of the mod (plus it’s about herself/girlfriend which is a mix of both)

This song hit so hard for me because of the lyrics and the execution of the vocal delivery/intensity in the video.
