1. Try to be chatty NOT smart
2. Don't be too formal
3. Don't speak too fast
4. Your examiner will interrupt you
5. Give open answers
6. Talk for full 2 minutes in part II
7. Try to talk about broader ideas
I had my speaking exam two days ago. Number four annoyed me a lot, yes there is a time limit but at least let me me finish my sentence!1!1

Oh my Gosh... You've just explained everything that happened to me during my Speaking exam a couple of weeks ago! I really thought that my examiner is rude and jumps too fast through questions, interrupts me and asks me things that I've just answered fully. I thought that maybe they don't understand me clearly enough and those 15 mins were like a total of 2. I was so shocked and instead of thinking about my answers to the questions, all that I cared about is wheter everything was allright and if I did something wrong to deserve that kind of attitude. I received Band 6.5 ... If only I've watched your video before this, maybe the results would be different :/ Thank you for sharing this kind of information, it is really important for people like me!
Same thing happened wid me and even I got 6.5
My speaking test is tomorrow. Wish me luck 🤞
My test result came in today and my overall band score is 8.5. My speaking score was only 7.5 but I think that was mostly because I was so nervous😂. Anyway, thanks for all the useful tips!
Fat Ninja good job 👍🏻
Can I ask u for some tips

Thats impressive actually, congrats
I faced IELTS only by watching your Videos (Mainly Tips) and scored very well. Thanks a lot for your support. Please keep posting videos and help other students as well.. Good luck !!

I got 8 in speaking thanks to this and a couple of other videos, sensei :) my speak was chatty instead of complicated sentences, as you advised, and it was 10 minutes long masterpiece.
BTW, I've literally started preparing for the IELTS speaking test 2 days before the actual exam date.
Good luck to everyone! This video deserves appreciations!
do you mean the test only lasted 10 mins?
How can you get 8 in 2 days? Please don't fool people. You should have a great background in English.

Thanks Asia for your wonderful tips! On my first ielts, a year ago, my score was severely affected due to my low score on the speaking part. But this time, thanks to this video of you! Finally, something that cheered me up unlike reading. Thank u 🔥❤
Hi Asiya, I have gone through some amazing tips you shared for Section 2 (TOPIC) post my first IELTS attempt in which I got 7 band. I implemented those tips in my second attempt this time and I got a BAND 8 overall with '8' in Speaking. I could elaborate my topic in a very nice structural format within the stipulated time and it worked for me and helped in generating a smooth flow of speaking during my test unlike in my first attempt where I had performed bad! Cheers to your tips!
I'm so happy to hear that! What an amazing result. Very will done!
Wow; what a legend!!!
@@FasTrackIELTS hii
Unfortunately , this exam turns to set of tricks and prepared phrases.... it really does not and can not assess your english skills properly , cause there are topics that you can not answer even in your own language.
I agree with you, even as an everyday English speaker, this test is more of an IQ test than a test of your English.
agreed it is difficult to answer even in my mother tongue lol
My speaking test is tomorrow...I’ve watched many of your vids and its help me a lot... I’m very nervous though ...wish me luck!✨
Your videos are helpful indeed. Thank you for sharing them.

I will probably give my ielts speaking test within 1 or 2 days my exam is on 4th jan 2020. I am not that much good in English. Purpose of Giving ielts test is to do higher studies abroad. Hopefully I can do well in the exam.
Thank you I got an overall 8.5 (L8.5 R9 W8 S8)! I was rushing to take an IELTS test last week but obviously didn't have much time for preparation. I watched your videos the day before my test to familiarize myself with the format and types of questions, as well as how a computer-delivered test works. Today I received my result and I was quite pleased with it:)

Asiya, Really appreciate your valuable advice through all videos. It helps me a lot. I have 1 hour before speaking test and watch your video!
Wow thank you so much for your suggestions!
Exactly! Being chatty is key. 🔑🗝🔑🗝
I just wanted say thank you I followed your tips and Did really good in speaking
Thank you enormously, Asiya for sharing the tips you followed yourself and aced in your speaking part.
Being natural is welcomed as the examiner notices any pretentious behaviour there, so it is much better to be yourself and choose your own pace of speech as you've pointed out the speed may cause both grammatical mistakes, lexical and even pronunciation errors, so may interfere with intelligibility overall. Also, fancy vocabs can never help anyone (you shared your story here), because, firstly, you may use them with wrong words (collocation problems), second, they might not fit into the context of your speech. Moreover, you reassured your subscrubers telling not to worry about the questions repeated, even if you overtook them with preliminary answers. Btw, you have made remarkable progress in the way how you communicate your ideas in both verbal and non-verbal techniques.
Thank you for your videos and I am able to get band 8 in 3 weeks preparation..
Thank you for all your tips Asiya! I got my results yesterday and I got an 8 in speaking!
Followed her from the start of my preparation and eventually got 8.5 in speaking. A short advice to the test-takers: try to be expressive rather than being clever. It is not a test of your intelligence rather your conversational skills.
Thank you so much. Your videos are very helpful.
I got many aspirations from your video's. Thank you.
Dear Asiya, I regret to say that compared to your videos on the writing tasks, this one was not sufficiently good. Still, good to know that using a lot of advanced words does not help that much. thx
Thank you mam for your videos.... i got 7 in overall ....thank you so much.....

Thank you 😊 💕 i love you so much ❤️ You are best instructor from speaking . I got 7 of speaking with your help 😊😊😊
In part 2, I find that I actually exceed two minutes because I seem to have ideas that expand my answers. It’s not that I’m going in circles, I just have lots of correct vocabulary to discuss on some topics. Now my issue is, do I speak faster (I normally speak fast)? Does not covering every detail of each subtopic affect my scores? Help!
Thanks, Asiya for your video on Speaking tips. I recently took my IELTS exam on 30th January 2022 and I scored band 8.0.
For future test takers, I will say just be natural don't force yourself to use uncommon words and complex sentences, just take this test as a normal interview. Make sure you can communicate effectively whatever you want to say. During the conversation if you can use some good synonyms and can make complex sentences it's good, otherwise, just relax.
congratulation, how about listening how much your score?

Same.. a few hours away! Prayers!!❤
Great advice 👍
Thank you so much for your guidance and the fact that these inferences are from your own personal experience being in the shoes of the examinee itself, further increases its importance💐
I want to know, what do you think, according to you, thwarted you from getting a band 9 in speaking, even though you are a proficient speaker.
Range of vocabularies have you heard of that. We are suppose to use those words and we also have to use different sentence structures mate .

Hello from KZ. Thank you, Asiya, for your tips!
I took my academic test a week ago and had 8.5 in speaking! I watched this video during my 20-minute break after my written parts - listening, writing and reading -, and one thing I took away was to just be myself and be my usual chatty self. And my God, I chatted away, my examiner had to interrupt me every time. He laughed at some of my responses and it hardly felt like an exam. When it was over, I wondered what the heck went down because time flew by quickly. Thanks Asiya for making a massive difference in my approach to this test.
What was your speaking score?

today I got some material in my inbox from you and it made me for confident of how to take my preparation within short time. thank you much. God bless you
How much did it cost please
Awesome content
So, if I had to summarize what the examiners want (according to the band descriptors) is:
-a variety of complex sentences
-a variety of verb tenses (especially the complex ones?)
-a variety of passive forms
-a variety of modals
-a range of comparative forms
-a range of linking words
Basically, it's all about "variety "(range) of all the above structures (without being obsessed with "complex" or "simple" grammar).Am I wrong?
I would like to thank you Because all I did before IELTS was watch your video and I got a 7.5 in speaking. I want to thank you so much.
