I feel John was at the height of his technique in 78-79...at least on electric guitar...He had come through all these mind-blowing musical situations from 68-78.At this stage he had complete understanding of his instrument.He had a 360 degree view of the music and total technique to play anything he wanted.Thanks for posting.
