First season he played with tactical safety, this season he has abandoned tactical safety and had injuries and the players cant execute it.

Nice analysis, and I hope that INEOS have comparably level-headed thinking. I was content with him having a 3 year contract, and he should be allowed to see it out. Ideally,they announce that an extension is being considered for a few months,and a final decision can come in time to make a change,if necessary,around January. A new manager, if permanent and not just a placeholder, needs to be identified when the full executive structure has had a chance to decide what and who can provide the improvements we need.

Also player profile for playing styles is a real thing. Utd have a Frankestein squad in terms of profile of players ( playing styles, football iq, quality, athleticism), all managers will struggle.
Utd will pick a style of football and either leverage Ten Hag to implement it, or hire someone who can. Whilst buying and selling players based on this philosophy.
Changing manager without purpose makes zero sense and we will end up in the same situation or worse.
Do it with purpose, do it with the footballing philisophy in mind.
Also note the process will be slow.
