Love the Hagrid recipe towel!! You could make the whole recipe… there are “pebble” chocolate candies!! 😝 they look just like pebbles! Cool!
This will be my first Accio box and I can't wait. Not all wildlife preserves are public and Hagrid has an unusual menagerie. Perhaps they do a fundraiser like sponsoring animals upkeep and you can donate for a ranger tee. It doesn't mean you work in the forest but support the preservation of the forest and the magical species within.
The shirt makes a ton of sense to me. In the PNW, we have HUGE national parks with a visitor center at the entrance. The rest of it might be trails or small windy road to the ocean or lighthouse but the trails aren't without risk - just like the magical forest. There are bears and cougars and other wildlife to be weary of. So similar to the magical forest. HAGRID is essentially a forest ranger. Forest rangers are actually in the top 5 most dangerous jobs you can have..similar to Hagrid. That's how I'm seeing it. Very clever shirt!
If anything, the vegan recipe is not right..Hagrid would never be a vegan lol

The difference is Hogwarts doesn’t have a visitor center for it, doesn’t encourage visitors, it’s called the Forbidden Forest and bans visitors and the students.
if I'm not mistaken, Accio! is a vegan box. I think it's a nice touch to include a vegan recipe for their vegan subscribers 😊

Would have been lovely if the shirt was also a "Groundskeeper Volunteer" or a "Zoologist Trainee" or "Magical Creatures Apprentice", basically someone who is trained specifically under Hagrid 🥰 💖 I agree with your comments about the shirt, however it could be possible that another Harry Potter company already took other ideas and Accio can't use those ideas. So this is will do 🤷🏻♀️🥰
That rolling pin is amazing definitely my top favourite but this was a really fun strong box loved it
And yes the tshirt I agree with you, I like it but I dont LOVE the concept lol It could have just said keeper of keys and grounds on the back without the preserve bit that doesn’t fully make sence

I feel like the concept of the shirt doesn't seem very "magical", it makes the forbidden forest and Hogwarts grounds feel like a tourist attraction - maybe they should've gone with a care of magical creatures club shirt instead? Rest of the box was super creative though, love the emphasis on baking :)
Yeah, the Kritter Keeper Club sounds like a very plausible idea & Hagrid would love that.
I can imagine him having tears pool up in his eyes seeing the kids in the club care for the animals. A little Colin Creevey-type who gets excited about seeing an animal poop? Adorable.

I 100% understand what you mean about the T-shirt. That being said, I absolutely love it! I think it's really clever and I love the way Accio! sort of dances on the line between the wizarding world and our muggle world, creating items that we relate to but which also have a touch of magic to them!
I bet you could add chocolate rocks to the cookies to pretend they're pebbles! Maybe right after they finish so the cookies are soft and you can imbed them! I really love this box so much, I love Hagrid!

For the rock cakes if you make them... They have candy coated chocolate pieces that look like pebbles. And they actually taste good

This box to me was so cohesive which I think is perfect! Accio box is my favorite subscription box out there. My favorite item is definitely the tea steeper as I drink loads of tea daily and it will be used heavily! The umbrella stand is brilliant, will be nice to be able to have it next to all my teas. I am very excited to use the baking utensils and to try out the recipes! Great video as usual, thanks Peter!
Really fun box! But it isn't the first Hagrid box you've opened. Wizarding Trunk had one with pink umbrella, rock cake candle, goggles, spider eggs and I think Fang? Loved it. This accio version is so clever!

I love Hagrid honestly. So much, I've actually made 1 of my DnD characters based off him. His name is Rubin. He's a joy to play.
Would have to say that I am disappointed with the overall theme! Here in the UK we don't really have "Park rangers" we have game keepers, grounds keepers, it didn't feel authentic to me. Loved the biscuit roller and the tea towel those are my favourite items.
I can imagine the centaurs wouldn't like a Park ranger either!
Accio box is my favorite out of all the subscriptionboxes you feature! I'm pretty sure it's because majority of the items are something we can actually use. I also just bought the Forbidden Forest Ranger shirt as an individual item. I get what you mean about the idea of it. But the way you were thinking of like a club is quite cool :)
I loved this box. I like the shirt because I think Hagrid is almost like a ranger in the Forbidden Forest. He goes in there all the time and some of the beings in there that would attack a normal person have great respect for Hagrid. Maybe he's more of a creature whisperer! Hahah
My favorite part is the baking set. My husband read the recipe and made sure to point out that we had all of the ingredients.

I would have sent you an actual letter through mail, but I wanted this message to reach you on this date, because today is a very special day for me. I'm a fellow collector (collecting animal books and other things) and for years I have had a goal of collecting every single book about dogs that has ever been released in Latvian language. And today I have finally gotten the last remaining one. I'm so happy! While I do collect other things and other books, this collection of dog themed books was my main and most important one. And now, I actually have every single one that has ever been printed, up to this date! It took a lot of work and searching, I even imported a couple from United States, as they weren't anywhere in Latvia. Either way, it's actually You who I have to thank, now that my collection is complete. Had it not been for me discovering Your channel all those years ago I would never have thought of collecting books. I've always had a large private library - and a lot, in fact most, Latvian dog books already - but I never thought of it as collection. I never imagined books can be collected. I've been collecting other things before, but only after finding out about Your collection did I thought that I can collect books as well. And what better thing to collect than the one you love most.
As a little thank-you, I'd like to tell You that there are new Latvian Harry Potter editions released from a different publisher with new cover art. I keep noticing you don't have them (or at least not displayed), because Latvian books is so visible on your shelf in every video. I would have loved to send You the book set via mail as proper thank-you gift for inspiring my own collection, but sadly it's not an option for me currently due to logistics problems regarding large packages and some other issues going on here. The very least I could do is provide the information. If you need links to them, or any additional information regarding them, let me know, I'd be happy to help.

Loved the book sleeve! They are so hard to find. I travel for work and carry Manuals, plus books to read-or have to wait at hospitals with family members so have a book to read. These keep my manuals and books from getting ruined or bent up as I carry them around. Also love the rolling pin and tea strainer. Such cool ideas.

My box is supposed to arrive today and I can't wait until I get home from work to open it. I'll report which dragon egg I received then, fingers crossed on the red one! I love JoyAddict's art and am so excited to see some of their gorgeous art on a sleeve. Mine will be used for my IPad too. But they have amazing enamel pins in the form of stamps from magical locations I have all their HP and LOTR stamp pins along with a few other fandom locations like PanAm or the Moon Kingdom. I'm looking forward to the quarterly boxes and hope they stay just as magical as the monthly ones.

T shirt is awesome but I understand your feelings , it looks like it a t- shirt from a Park reserves, its styled to more look like that , but idea is different. I think if it was called forbidden forest protector or something like that it might be a bit more fitting to the idea , as well as design had a bit more mist and darker colours which would it make more spooky /fitting to forbidden forest esthetic 🥰 love your videos as always , keep collecting 🥰

Got mine yesterday and love it! I have already made cookies using the non-vegan recipe, rolling pin and cutter. They are so nice. Also been using the tea strainer but lots of tea leaves are escaping 🙈🙈

My personal preference. I wish it involved more than just his cooking. I love the cookie cutter and roller, but would love to see more magical creatures stuff and a unique double agent item or something.

I agree with you on the shirt - Beautiful shirt! But I'm not sold on the concept. The Forbidden Forest is not a park. They could have done the recipe for rock cakes as a shirt instead.

My grandmother and mother used to make a date & nut cookie called rocks. Grandma’s cookies came out almost as hard as rocks, while my mother’s were soft and chewy. They are my favorite aside from chocolate chip cookies 🍪.
I LOvE the shirt but agree with you Peter that I would not see folks visiting the forest. It would of been cool if it was labeled as “Preserve”.

I don't have social media but I thought maybe you'd be interested in this tidbit of info on Hogwarts Legacy that I just stumbled upon. It looks like Phineas Nigellus Black will be the Headmaster of Hogwarts during the events of this game! That has me very excited. Even though he's the least popular head ever, he's still one of my favorite characters from the books....not very pleasant, but very entertaining!lol

Just got my box today. I think it’s a strong box. The shirt was a spoiler and the reason I got the box. Sometimes I wait and buy pieces individually but I’m glad I didn’t with this one. I think if the shirt did not have the word visit on the back it would be better. But love it regardless.

There are non entrance protected sites that do have rangers also. They make sure no one comes in and manage the site in terms of prevention fires, diseases outbreaks in animals or plants etc.

They usually have the individual items for sale on their website. It might not be on their website just yet it can take a couple of weeks before their posted so they can make sure everyone gets their box first.

Well here for Ranger reference you must have seen game of thrones.. there rangers were strongest people who could travel to and try to survive south of the wall which was definitely very dangerous foresty area having harmful creatures (not giving any spoilers here).. so now you are a ranger for forbidden forest.. its really intriguing if you see it that way. I love the shirt so much. I like the idea of it but I wish it was a slightly darker color. I also loved the pin so much I went to the website and bought the other three versions I didn’t get.

I feel exactly the same way you do about the shirt, to the bare sentiment. It's another case of stopping to think whether they SHOULD just because it's something they COULD offer. National parks as a concept also feel VERY American and THAT grated on my teeth a little. The front logo on it looks like a HoJo or 1950's tourist trap!
