The third and final flight of the day. Part 3 of my journey from New York to Vancouver. This time onboard one of American Airlines' new 737's. This one is less than a year old. Very nice interior and incredible entertainment system. Endless amounts of TV Shows and movies to choose from. Better entertainment than I've seen on most longhaul aircraft to be honest. Was very impressed. A busy flight, almost every seat taken. Punctual departure and a long taxi to one of Dallas's many runways, ours was 18L. Made a slightly staggered parallel departure with an American 777, before we turned right towards the west and into the sunset. A dark, wet and windy arrival in Vancouver. Just as the tail end of yet another storm hit the city. Pilot did warn us of a potentially turbulent descent into YVR but it didn't amount to much really. Over all a pretty good flight though!

Ernest Johnson I flew from Chicago to Vancouver and it took over four hours. Coming home from Vancouver I flew to Dulles in Virginia and it took nearly the exact same flying time. I can only imagine how long it took from Dallas. I know this vid mentions 4 hours 24 minutes but not sure if flying time or if it includes taxi-out and taxi-in.
Nice new first class seats and cool to see entertainment screens at every seat. I flew on N876NN (built 2011) had Sky Interior but overhead screens.
Im taking this trip accept from YVR - DFW then to TPA on March 23rd :D

Anyone know what those cone-shaped things are under the wing??
I believe they are fuel tanks or reserve fuel tanks:)
