If you do restart you should add hunger, but also make it so you can’t just rob places you have to “purchase” a location to work there!

To the best of my knowledge, here is how the abandoned car spawns work:
There are four places where a car can spawn. These places do not change.
When you log into the game a car hull can spawn in only one of the four spaces.
When you leave the game, the car hull despawns unless you claim it.
Once claimed, it will stay on the map. Another one will not spawn until you restart the game.
Oh ok. That makes sense then. So really anytime to start up a game, it’s best to check the four spots?
They are all on the small island as well right?
@@QuadThumbs Sorry for the late reply. All four spawns are on the small island, one is fairly close to the garage. I think there's a map with the spots marked online.
A restart with some new rules could be cool, but I think you should keep this play through. Experiment around. Earn lots of money. I was thinking you could use the building tools to make some guard rails around the really steep corners with cliffs that you could roll off of? Do a bunch of insane experiments with your cars to find out which engine/transmission/differentials work best. Go crazy with the mods and test them out.
As for what rules to go by for a new play through...that is kind of tough because there's not a lot to the game outside of the building mechanic.
If you wanted to make it really difficult, no junkyard or abandoned cars allowed to be rebuilt and you can't use junkyard parts. You can only use the cars from the shop and parts from the catalog. That will really stunt your profit margins and make progress really slow.
You can't use super human strength. Now, I personally can push a car that is in neutral. Even up a bit of an incline. But, I can't push a car with no wheels and I certainly couldn't spin it around in circles unless it was on rollers. So, pushing a non-starting car into a garage bay when it is parked on your lot, fine. I doubt any normal human being could pick up a lift machine by themselves, so the lift tool would have to be used very sparingly. I am not sure if the editing tools allow you to take away money from yourself, but if it does, perhaps you could pay a nice fee to have heavy equipment "delivered" to your shop? What sounds reasonable to have somebody haul a lift or two to your shop and install them for you? $1000?
Same thing goes for if you want to build something. Sure, you have to pay for materials, but I think you should have to hire a construction crew and pay them to build whatever you want. The cost of the build would depend on the size of the construction job.
No using customer cars to travel to get parts or for any other reason other than to test drive for a diagnosis and to see if you've fixed the problem.
Great ideas. There is actually a discard money option built right into the game. That works great of RP ideas like “paying someone”
But I agree with continuing the current save. After thinking about it for a while, I’ve decided to wait to start over. I figure at some point Viking will likely have a large update that would require a restart any how 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
@@QuadThumbs That's an issue I have with Euro Truck Simulator. There are a lot of great mods on Steam for it, but they have been updating the game a lot lately. Just in the past few months they've gone from version 1.87 to 1.93. Each time they update the game, the mods have to be updated to stay compatible. Some of them become completely obsolete. When that happens you essentially lose your game.
That is a good idea though, why start over when you don't have to? You can keep earning money and just keep working on things, like maybe planning out a nice build
I am curious to see what happens in the performance shop where you moved to and see if everything works there.
I manager where I used to work made me some homemade rhubarb pie and it was really, really good. She said the secret is tons and tons of sugar since rhubarb is supposedly incredibly tart.

@@QuadThumbs It's not that terrible...the only real downside is that most of the time, my backpack is full of food and drinks 😂
And sometimes, when you're already in town, it's more worth shopping at the store there. More variety and they are cheaper. I hadn't actually tested what fills the bars up the most, but a pizza from the pizzeria in town is definitely effective 😁
Ok ok. So do you die when you starve? Or does it just like slow you down?
I don't think so. You have the hunger, thirst and a life bar. I'd never gotten to that point but I think if the third bar goes down completely, then you die.
I do a mean Hank Hill impression, and sometimes if my throat behaves, I can do a Bobby Hill. I can also do the professor from Futurama, and a lot of other characters. Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget. Optimus Prime (Brian Cullen), Starscream sometimes, again, my throat has to be doing well at the time. I can basically mimic a lot of voices. I just have to hear the person speak a bit and learn some of their phrases. I can do Peter Griffin, Herbert, Cleveland Brown. Carl from ATHF, Ignignot, Scooby Doo's laugh and sometimes his speaking...etc.

Yeah, I was think of races as well. There are still many I have never even tried yet! Maybe take the NIV out on the back of the F350 in case I Total the NIV
